Rather more amazing that the new debutantes and their mothers were not hurling themselves at him in such numbers that Daphne could not have just slipped away in the chaos. Other than Simon he was quite possibly the most eligible bachelor in the ton.

Now that Daphne is Duchess of Hastings, once can presume that she has inherited the late-Duchess's brain cells along with her jewels. Combined with the advantages of rank, I am hoping that Daphne will be taking charge of Anthony's courtship next season - whether he wants her to or not.

Every single line delivered by Jonathan Bailey is a masterclass in acting. I didn’t know him before but he goes straight up my Olympo of favourite performers together with Toby Regbo and David Dawson. BTW, would be lovely to see them in Bridgerton 💜

Rumour has it that the series has to keep the couples from the books canon in the show and in the books, both Benedict and Eloise fall in love with and marry someone of the opposite sex, so it doesn't look like either of them are LGBT.

Its so different in the books. The duel does happen in the books but he is much much more chill in the books than in the show. I think cuz they wanted to put the opera singer plotline in that they also made him immature. I didn't particular like that but ah well
