A deliciously buttery shortbread biscuit. Nothing could be simpler to make and taste so good. A cookie press helps to make some lovely shapes too, just ready to be popped into an open mouth.

I love simple recipes like this one, and am using my cookie press for only the second time. I didn't know you could click the press twice! I am going to do that. Thanks for helping me with the recipe and how to do it! -Sally

@@geoffsbakingblog Ok, I just finished making them. I made half a recipe. WHY didn't I make a full one? They are fantastic. I am so glad I came across your channel. I play music with a small group of mostly retired people, and we take turns having the get together at each other's houses. We always serve refreshments, so your recipes are like a goldmine of ideas for me! Thanks again!

+Karen Kimberley Hi Karen, Ha ha, I will be slowing down soon I am sure. I am glad the Hot Cross Buns turned out well for you. I am currently making a Blackberry and Lemon Cheesecake, that will be online tomorrow I hope. Then a few days break before I tackle a wonderful (I hope) beef and mushroom pie.

Hello, Geoff! I have a biscuit press that someone gave me years ago, and it has never been used. I think it might be time to overcome my trepidation and give it a go because these biscuits are adorable and much easier than I would have thought. Something has me confused though, Geoff ... how many kitchens do you have? I've seen three! One in Canada; the big one in this video; and a sweet smaller kitchen. If I may ask, is the smaller kitchen a special studio for these videos?

Hi Mo, yes it is time to dust off the biscuit press, you will enjoy the biscuits. As for the kitchens the one I was in when I made these was a flat I rented when I first moved to this area. The small one that I use now is in the flat that i bought a couple of years ago. It is very small and is a challenge when making videos, but for my everyday living it is the perfect size.
