The northern part of Sweden is not that populated. The majority of Swedes live further down.

"Högertrafiksomläggningen" is quite an interesting story, it's really down to us having a very successful industry post ww2 (since we didn't participate it didn't get bombed) so a lot of Swedes bought American cars because they were big, luxurious and powerful compared to what a lot of Europe were producing at the time. That meant that we had a lot of people sitting on the wrong side of the car all while being surrounded by countries driving on the right and as a result we flipped to driving on the right.

Around 15% is the population of Norrland but Norrland is about 59% of the swedish land

only thing with allemansrätten is kinda you can walk in to others backyards, but it depends on what you mean by it. It's ofc considered rude to go in on others backyard close to the house etc, but if its a forested area hundred meters away from the house or something you can go past that in the woods and enjoy the day. But maybe not go right past the house a few meters away from it, also it has some rules like leave it the same way you found it etc. But if someone is interested about it they can read up more and way better explanation then I can muster to type up right now. Also look up more on the taxes if your interested, it sounds pretty high if you compare it to what you would earn and live with on the US salery etc, but when you look at the medium on what you usually pay as a normal family or individual in the US vs Swe, you can see that the tax we pay we get enough back to make it kinda the same as in the US but the diffrence is that we always have thoes securities taxes provide no matter what. Thats the jist of it.

Well my partner had a cancer thing going on and that cost me about 100 usd, that means that i only had to worry about my partner and not about the economics. I have lived in the states, visited it many times, but would never move there or start a family there.

Correction, the change over to continental driving, i.e driving on the right side actually went amazinglj well. That's one thing. Not everything was right in this info about Sweden.

Relations between e.g. Sweden and Norway...well, as a Swede I would say that Sweden and Norway got the same jokes about each other...there is, however, only one difference...ours (Sweden) are true ;-)

They are WRONG about the "Allemansrätten" (Right of Public Access). You HAVE access to be on private land! THAT'S THE POINT!

There's a like a constant lack of both doctors and nurses, and specialists in health care like surgeons bc they get better pay in Norway so they can go work in both countries. Norway has the North Sea oil, so. And 2. The population has been growing rapidly due to several waves of refugees, the 2015 is mentioned in the video - yes, but there were other before that. Sweden has been generously accepting refugees, and alas, the health care system hadn't kept up with that pace. Takes time to train doctors, doesn't - plus the fact that they're getting better pay in like Norway, for one - creates the perfect storm!

Funnily enough the US actually spends more taxes per capita on healthcare than most other countries. And yet they still take a lot of money from individuals because of insurance and extremely high prices etc. In reality the US doesn't have that low taxes if you include out of pocket expenses that Sweden for example cover with taxes.
