I have to admit. Normally i don't like "modern" stage designs of "old" operas, because, to put it simple, due to lack of soul. But this is really great.

love the arias but i had never seen it as a whole opera!!! the stage design, the ideas and costume design are all WONDERFUL work!!!! not to mention the amazing singers!!!!! thank you for sharing this!

It must be admitted that there are many points of strenght in this performance. In particular, the set design and direction seem very good. From a musical point of view, the orchestra does a great job, the absence of the recorders and the flautino (which is also excellently masked by the "Augelletti" direction) is a shame, but if instead of a harpsichord they had included an organ in the ensemble, they would have masked even better and made the absence of an instrument that is fundamental in that aria imperceptible.

Such an intelligent production of this impossible story. I have really never enjoyed this opera, in my opinion not one of Händels most important, before now. Thank you so much.

핸델의 리날도 DVD가 2000년 경에 나온 이후로 백 번 쯤 봤습니다. 헨델은 26살에 이런 멋진 오페라를 만들 었는데 나는 26살에 뭐하고 있었던가. 86 팀스피리트 훈련나가서 개고생하고 있었네요.
