How tragic that we lost George A. Romero and Tobe Hooper in 2017. We've lost too many amazing directors. Glad John is still with us.

This interview was recorded about a year before John Carpenter gave us his version of The Thing & George Romero gave us Creepshow.

Awesome upload! It’s great seeing Carpenter and Romero at the height of their careers. All three men were fascinating to listen to. Wish this was two hours longer.

It's funny to see Jeannot Swarcz here as a "horror director" because right after this he would direct Somewhere In Time, Supergirl, and Santa Claus: The Movie! Yikes! For the record, Bug and Jaws 2 are pretty good flicks though. But great to see the 3 guys (2 certified legends in JC and Romero) shooting the shit before the cynicism and burn-out set in. Always a treat to see them still having fun and at their creative peak.

I like Romero's and Carpenter's movies. So ahead of their own time and felt fresh. Plus the gory stuff are excellent at that time without CGI. I also love horror video games, especially those with undead ghouls. Recently I played Dead Island 2. And from the start almost to the end, the name Romero always mentioned or appearing on several locations in the game. And there's even a fictional Romero Award Ceremony near the Hollywood Boulevard in that game. So glad the younger generations still acknowledge Romero as the godfather of zombie movies. (^_^)d

Jeannot Szwarc directed at least three masterpieces: Somewhere in Time, Lisa, Bright and Dark, and Enigma. His horror work was best on the small screen.

George is such an alpha here and clearly commands attention. Not saying he's asking for it but even the interviewer cant help but to gravitate towards him during her questioning. Thanks for the upload!

Didn't Snyder turn out to be a bit of a "Creepshow" himself at some point? Other than that arrogant creep, an excellent presentation. Thank-you very much for the clip. In my opinion George Romero was above them all and we lost him to soon. Carpenter is also fantastic and the other gent obviously talented and very intelligent as well. However, there was always something very special about George Romero. I believe he did what he said and said what he did - literally.

14:17 they discuss the ending of Dr Phibes, which is a similar formula to SAW franchise. Even in the 1980s it shows SAW could have worked.

Ladies and gentlemen, two legendary horror filmmakers and some other guy who did a sequel to Jaws and a bunch of crap afterwards...why is it the guy with nothing artistically to say talks so much? I kept wanting John or George to be more involved in the conversation but that fake Shemp kept speaking up...
