This was, without reservation , one of the best movies I've had the pleasure of watching. And being 67, I've watched A Lot of movies!! Was crying like a baby at the end, happy tender tears. Ben A was outstanding!

My sister in-law had a class with Ben Affleck in Queens college. Said he was a nice guy. Always sat towards the front and was respectful

what the f*** ... the thing with masterpieces is, that they are way to short !!! I didn't want this movie to end !!!

The memoir by J.R. Moehringer was phenomenal. The film adaptation was decent throughout but odd choices on casting. Affleck did a bang up on Uncle Charlie and Christopher Lloyd did well playing the grandfather. Some other characters seemed inaccurately portrayed based on the book but only one viewers opinion.

Beautiful Movie. Not a gun in sight. So I am sitting down to watch this, almost anticipating some sort of mob related violent sub plot. Nothing Nada. Whole ensemble was amazing. Mr. Affleck - Stay Sober Brother. You have a lot of Stella work/ stories to tell ahead of you. Hats off to Clooney for creating such pathos. When the young JR was telling the older JR to shape/fix up in the bar. Genius touch.

What? A new film all about a young boy getting lessons in a bar?? Talk about preying on a child! You had to go and make a movie about it?? I get what George is saying about the country being angry but taking it out on children is not the answer. The boy in the film looks completely different than the one sitting in the chair. That’s just wrong! GMA, I’m disappointed once again.
