His voice was amazing. His energy on stage was a force to be reckoned with. He was handsome, and sexy, and that twinkle in his eyes when he's sang could just melt my heart. Gone way too soon. I will always love the original group. It is hard for me to make room for all the singers. They sound good but I still love George and the originals.

George always made you feel like you were the only person on the planet when he had a minute to talk to you. He was one of the kindest souls I ever had the pleasure of coming in contact with. He is and will always be greatly missed.

George was a man who made fans across the world smile and as a fan of Celtic Thunder it was a sudden shock and the days without him are not the same as he is gone and now that he rests in peace, his soul will always be remembered. As we realize that he is gone it will be sadden but he is in a better place. As i never met George, you could see fans smile everytime he showed his face on stage and in real life. May his wife Carolyn and his daughter Sarah have the best wishes as they have a hard time to deal with the loss of a father and a husband. (Rest in Peace George Donaldson) Big G is number one forever and always!! :)

I only discovered Celtic Thunder around the time George died: Oh how I would have loved to have seen you live George with Damian, Keith, Ryan and Paul.. I am just glad so much exists on the virtual world that means your memory lives on. My daughter lives in Canada and they are playing near where we will be when we are out there later this year. Tickets already booked for my daughter, Cynth, her Mom in Law and I for a gals night with CT and can't wait. Strangely seeing a I live in The U.K it was me that introduced my daughter and Cynth to CT. It wont be quite the same without you George yet we know you will be their in spirit. RIP George. You always be remembered. Forever in our hearts

This is lovely! George certainly DID touch many, many lives. You can tell he was a fatherly figure to Damien - always watching over him, and it almost makes me cry in the video of him when Damien is singing "A Bird Without Wings." His first love - his wife and daughter, blessed to have him. So tragic. So damned sad.

I only knew George through the PBS shows and CD's and DVD's I bough by Celtic Thunder. I really lovedthe entire group especially George with his rich voice and tender messages. I am so glad I have many ofthem. He seemed to be the glue that held the singers together and they were so good. I miss George, alwayswill, but will listen to him sing. Will the Celtic Thumder Group be able to ever get together again??

I will never get over him leaving and will play his songs till the cd's and dvd's wear out. Do you know if the Celtic Thunder gang will ever be able to do any more shows? I miss them all and don't feel quite the same about their individual endeavors although I listen to my Celtic Thunder music and love them all.
