This song is...like a perfect fit for the legend. I always got the feeling he was liie....The Group's Dad figure...they always seemed to get along great, even on stage Acting. it seems fluid and natural...I miss him so very much and I'm still relatively new to their music. George was easy to like and hard to forget. St. Partricks day will never be the same...I will remember that day more for the Irish/celtic singer rather then the holiday!

enough cannot be said about him. From Scotland he knew much about Harry Chapin about WW II though he was born over 20 years after it ended. He was a citizen of the world and so perceptive. We won't see his like again any time soon

Yes George will be forever missed by family and friends and people he never met he sang all his songs with love the guys made each song one of it's own

George Donaldson will be sadly missed as he left the Earth in Peace and harmony. The Days have become shorter and less fun when he passed on, in the time that I have listened to Celtic Thunder, George was the one who made the show as he grew and forever more he left the guys not standing but going to follow the clouds of his dreams. When I first heard the group, George was the one who caught my attention and grew up to follow in his footsteps. I wish the family of Big G a soft and warm goodbye to the one they love. Rest in Peace Big G! (1968-2014)

My husband feels the same way about George. He almost didn't want to go to the Celtic Thunder concert in Baltimore because George was no longer with them/us. He had a great time when we did get to see the group, though. George will always be loved as well as the Celtic Thunder group! They are such a great family!

Sorry! I've just watched this and it's not the George I knew! George sang in O'Brien's in Ayr and Jinty McGuinty's in Ashton Lane, Glasgow. We knew him before he was well known and he was such a down-to-earth guy! Sorely missed
