The force is indeed a very powerful and beautiful concept, and the Jedi with it, and George should be very proud of it, because as much as people may sneer or criticise, I think he managed to tap into something transcendent with it.

Some will say “He explains this so poorly.” I think we all used to think that with our teachers at one point. Because let’s be real here. We’ve all had some teachers that were smart and intelligent, but when they explained a lot of things, it seemed hard to understand, but if you just tune in and pay attention (pretty much just read into what they’re saying) then it shouldn’t be too hard. If no one still gets it, then idk what to say to them. That’s not anyone else’s problem but theirs.

Lucas was a massive fan of Carlos Castaneda. Intent is a force that permeates the universe and is aware of itself to the point of beckoning from shamans. Only the most impeccable can connect to this force.

The Empire should've won the war. Based on military might alone they should've won. George has been cited that he based the Rebels during the political climate of the Vietnam War. (Rebels=Viet Kong) However, because that the Rebels were not fighting in Guerilla tactics in the movies, at least from what we see, they were bound to lose eventually. We only see Guerilla tactics used in extended lore, finite details in such films, or that in which we see in the animated show "Rebels." In summary: The Rebels should've lost, especially with the creation of Death Star. Basically a gun to the head saying, "Do what we say or Kaboom!" The fact that all hope was basically lost, and a kid believing in the "Force" (Whatever psychological faith one believes in) uses such force to destroy the Death Star changing outcome of the inevitable victory of the Empire, speaks volumes of what George was telling the world about the importance of individual faith. An old religion is the very thing to turn the tide of the war bringing balance back into the universe. Interesting message that a lot of people look past.

TRUTH, is much stranger than fiction. Everyone is just a drone to a self aware energy, made from a mass of dead and so called living mental thought, it pulls on its strings. That "still small voice" wispering insistently, always making you go this way or that. For your profit or grave' sometimes fatal misfortunes. Every"Body's' just empty puppets. To it's welms. in a sense they all come the same source: Carl Jung. Lucas based Star Wars off of ideas in Joseph Campbell's A Hero With A Thousand Faces, who, in turn, was influenced by Jung who was one of the first to investigate the psychological implications of different mythologies. And Peterson is a Jungian.

We have a tendency to look for conspiracy to explain the unexplainable. Patterns can be drawn from anything, think about constellations, it doesn't mean they are real. We connect the dots to help us better understand things. Artists have been screaming the same message at us for centuries (i won't tell you what the core message is, that's for you to find out, and me telling you wouldn't help, it's something that is learned, not taught). Due to political dangers and persecution, artists had to get smart about how they conveyed their message(which will be interpreted differently by everyone, but at its core it is the same), because they knew that if they explicitly stated what they meant it would be misunderstood, and twisted by the wicked. This knowledge is powerful and incredibly dangerous, it literally started the most deadly civil war in history (the Taiping rebellion). It can break people. So they left a bread-crumb trail to inform the mind, giving us little glimpses of the truth, allowing us to gradually understand and internalize the message in a natural way. I think a lot of this started around the time of the inquisition. Just a crazy hypothesis and probably not true, but it's a thought that has occurred to me. Don't go looking down rabbit holes, you will fall in. Have a simple mind. George Lucas essentially set out with the goal of adapting eastern philosophy in a way that westerners can understand. These are universal truths, everyone will understand them in time. It's actually a really simple and obvious message, but it's complexity lies in its simplicity. I know that's confusing lol. I've spent my life studying all sorts of stuff, the more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know. "If I were to call it something, I'd call it 道" "This is the way" lol There are some things we are not meant to understand.

@@ShazzPotz That's possible, but articulation is a separate skill from knowledge acquisition, and it can be harder for some people to learn, even if they are able to grasp the latter better. He could be making stuff up on the fly, although I would say based on his experiences and insights, it doesn't seem that way -- he's just not the best at articulating his thoughts, something that is made evident by the poor dialogue but deep ideas in the prequel trilogy, hence why some people today say it's a good story hammered down by a poor execution. Just my opinion. I'm also a fairly poor articulator myself.
