I bought an actual ESP Kamikaze in 2001. Dream come true. I sold my entire vintage Star Wars action figure collection and with some of the money I bought the Kamikaze. Still have it.

He said they call it the "George Paul" but I'm sure he meant "Lynch Paul". That's what's written in gold cursive on the headstock where "Les Paul" would normally be. "George" is written where "Gibson" would normally be.(Just in case you didn't notice it). P.S. "Back for the Attack" Kicks Ass!!! Peace!!!

Great collection! Amazing variety. Jerry, Good point about the higher output pickups not always being the most appropriate. Dave Meniketti (Y&T) is arguably most reknown for Machine Gun effect with the LP "KIll switch"

Exactly!!! Low output alnico 5 pick ups, Hi Gain all tube Engl amps for me. Crushing tone, and when you roll off on the volume , she cleans up so well its like changing to a different channel.

This techs approach is killer.

Screamin Demons are NOT "high-output" pickups. They have a medium-output of around 300mv, and a DC resistance of 10K ohms. A standard Gibson PAF is around 200mv and 7 to 8K ohms. You're right about the EMGs though. George ALSO uses a Duncan Distortion model in some of his guitars, which IS a high-output pickup...

I never "bragged" about ANYthing. I simply stated a fact; which it that Claption is over-rated...PERIOD. There's nothing "childish" about anything that I said. What IS childish is you guys insisting that I make a video of myself playing guitar. It wouldn't matter if I am as accomplished as I say I am or if I totally sucked...it would not change the fact that Clapton is an over-rated guitar player. People just LOVE to idolize others, and that is just LAME...

I used to think Clapton was overrated. Then I realized his music with cream was legendary tone and feel and composition. Clapton was a little before my time, but you have to recognize that Clapton earned his stripes big time. Maybe he doesn’t jam like George Lynch which I prefer, but I used to have a sublective opinion of Clapton, but objectively? Clapton was a beast
