It’s 2023 and I’m still here!!!This is masterpiece!!! Music definitely not the same anymore. I think he is one of a few lucky ones who sound exactly same in live performances if not better then on a record! So much talent in one men! This should be thought in a music school, as masterclass of live performances! Brilliant GM💫👏

Ma come sono stati capaci a maltrattarti continuamente George?. Ma la loro coscienza dov'era?. You can listen to this thousands of times and you'll still never quite come to terms with how good this is! The fact this is unplugged is mind boggling really. Everything about this, the instrumentation, the vocals, including the awesome backing singers, screams studio 'one take and straight to CD' quality. I also love the message behind the song. George was a lovely, humble, kind hearted and deeply benevolent man. A real Rose of a celebrity, as we now live in a era filled with thorns. I don't think we truly appreciate what we've lost and I don't think we ever will really. One thing that makes me happy is to see his views on these videos. When I was listening before he passed, some had only a few thousand, now that's climbed into the millions. I feel good knowing that people all over the world are listening to these songs and getting the same connection to the emotions of them as I do. George's talent for capturing human emotion in his music transcends the industry really, and it has a power that very few artists can recreate or even hope to imitate. That's the real measure of a legend. RIP 🌹🎤

I've watched this several hundred times now, and I just never tire of it, GM superlative, backing singers superb, musicians magical. Sounds better than any remix or original album track. Brilliant. Deeply missed, thank goodness we have visual sound recordings like this, how lucky are we!!

Michael Oelgeschlaeger, ... and now there is indeed no one left. George Michael was one of a kind, 100% unique, immensely talented, god's gift to the world. He was without a doubt the greatest musical artist of his generation. He had the whole package like no other and since the 80s there was not anybody else in the same league as George Michael. Tragically the media failed him and therefore the world failed him too. There were many worldwide who supported his musical career, always buying his music, visiting his concerts but at the same time believing all the trash and lies printed in the press about him and still do these days so not a single person supported his soul! George Michael was an extremely sensitive individual and therefore in great need of emotional support. Sadly humans don't seem to be ready yet to give enough love to one another. They rather do the opposite as they never fail to judge others... George Michael (Georgios Panayiotou) left... he was full of love and always ready to give love! 😢🙏

@@yogssoulmate9735, so eloquently said. The media is no doubt complicit in his death. Sadly, once George had the falling out with Sony, I sort of lost track of him for long stretches. Unfortunately, we as a people don't realize what we have until it's gone. Listened to an interview last night a year after Faith came out. George stated that he loves living in the UK but the dogged press was making him question moving like Andrew did to France. Today is February 1st, 2020. A little over a month ago, on Christmas Day, Georges younger sister Melanie passed away suddenly. Please pray for the Panayiotou family at this very painful time.

He just wanted that George take over the family business. Despite that George always spoke with respect about his father.

Beautiful George, what touches me deeply is that his Mum was in the audience that night, and it was the last time she saw her boy perform live,...she passed away six months later...He put on as he said one of the best performances that eve...We are so blessed to have had George in our lives with his beautiful heart, soul, talented writing and his magnificent voice ..God bless you always xox

Tbh its as close to musical perfection as you can get ( in my opinion ). ps GM`s mum was in the audience and it was the last time that she saw him perform. Quite a fitting tribute to her. It's from the "Ladies and Gentlemen -The Best Of George Michael" DVD. Same cover as the double CD of the same name. The DVD has all the classic clips, and some live ones too, I think. Definitely "Star People" live, though. It's been around for ages. Hope you find it and enjoy! :)

I always thought the very best Unplugged performances were when artists were prepared to take risks and not hide anything behind studio trickery- George Michael is a perfect case in point resulting in one of the show's strongest sets.

I wish I saw him before he passed. It was my dream to see him. My dad was an immigrant who came in the 80s and loved his song Careless Whisper. He'd sing it and I soon learned what the song was called and George Michael is such an artist. Sad that I couldn't attend even his symphony... but I am glad to see these audios online

It's a well crafted song,great hooks, and his voice....wow, he sure had it during this period. Can't rate this live performance high enough. One of the best male singers of my lifetime.

George was a musical genius...he put his heart and soul in his music...he had a magicel voice ..when he sings you can only be guiet and listen to his voice ...he was a great songwriter and producer..and perfectionist..these back up singers were for years with him on every concert ...he was and still is the greatest singer...there is nobody like him and he was suts a wonderful person in live so humble and genereus...and so so missed every single day ❤️🙏...still listen to his songs every day ❤️ and i hope he is with his mom and sister in heaven 🙏
