Obviously if he ran an unlicensed group home there were no assigned social workers. That's how he was able to hide the individuals. The question you should be asking is why weren't the individuals families checking on them?

Therefore they should of been made aware that the Individuals was not living in their apartment or wherever the DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES PLACED THE INDIVIDUALS.. The So-call Pastor took the individuals out of their SUITABLE HOUSING and brought them to his residence which was falsified as a group home under the Church name.

Most of these so-called were not called they are there just for the quick money and pressure their congregation into more money. They don’t know how to do any else. They have no writing skills to write a book and make extra money that way, they have no other skills then twisting the scriptures for their gain. @@karenhatch6979 According to the news most were in state facilities. A lot of their folks are likely too old to care for them, deceased, or put them in these places at birth. And, some of the siblings of these folks may not even know of their existence. Some siblings only learn of them after the death of their parents-usually by finding paperwork and other such info! And contrary to what one might want to believe is a lot of people doing this hiding of their children due to mental or physical disabilities were doctors, lawyers, families of some other wealth or status. There are social service people just needing to clear their books-finding placements at all cost and nothing really looking closely at the placement. Others are crooks that get financial kickbacks from people like the pastor. Bet in the beginning they showed an empty room with a couple of beds as a front to what was in the basement! They likely had people working for them. I can't see them bathing, changing adult diapers, and feeding these folks.

Various facilities have different licenses and rules. But deadbolts are a no-go. Every facility has to have staff at all times and in lieu of such, you cannot just deadbolt someone in. If someone was attending to their needs why couldn't the EMS get them to open the door? And who made the call? Their kids (if they have kids), or? Did they have a camera where they were watching them and rather than have someone die, felt they had no choice but to call for help. Too many questions we can't answer right now, but I believe the answers will be worst than what we now know.😔
