Mark Jones is one of the all-time great college fb pbp guys in my opinion. As a Badger fan, he called two of our most legendary last-second wins in back to back seasons. Fumble recovery for a td vs Purdue in 2004 and a blocked punt of a td vs Minnesota in 2005. He was on the mic for both.

*Kicker* funny thing about that is just a year ago was the Kick Six where Auburn beat Alabama on a last second FG and this kicker had to audacity to say he would've tackled the player had it happened to him. Less than a year later, the quote aged like milk

Well, lately I've seen multiple kickers in college games easily nail 49 yarders down the pipe. So a kicker attempting this 50 yarder is totally plausible. Georgia tech just got lucky, nothing more. And I hate the semen holes so I'm not biased.

That's not over the top. That is an amazing play and many feel like this when it happens for their teams. To be actual witness to this is something people will tell for decades to come. GT snapped a, what was it, 28, 30 game regular season win streak? On an incredible last second play no less. You are not a passionate football fan if you can't at least understand that.

Never understood why coaches tell their players to avoid the ball after a blocked FG. I understand if it’s 30 yards past the LOS, but if it’s even close they should make a play on it. You have your athletes in against their FG team
