Student dietitian here! If you pair your iron foods with a source of vitamin c this will help to boost the iron absorption :) eg chicken with capsicum and broccoli. Also steer clear of calcium and tannins in tea and coffee when you eat your iron foods as these will inhibit iron absorption x

I would highly recommend checking your iron as a ferritin (in a separate blood test). As it shows better if you’re actually deficient. Sometimes the normal blood test is inaccurate. Also if you are deficient, what helped me massively was supplementing with high doses of vitamin C (500mg etc.) as it helps iron absorption a lot. 😊 Love your content Georgia 💛

Love, love, love your hair. Great and very brave decision. And you have so much more volume round your face now! I honestly think that it is a much fresher look too in time for spring and summer. You can still do a pony tail for the gym and when you ware it out it is manageable and it doesn't get stuck in your handbag strap🤣Which mine use to. Own it girlfriend! You look fabulous!

It's the cycle we go through, we get sick of our long hair so we cut it, love it then want to grow it out again and repeat. Honestly it looks beautiful.

Steak, mash potatoes, broc & orange juice !! Helps soo much with boosting iron. The orange juice allows you to absorb more iron from the steak when you pair those together ❤️ I once tried iron tablets and it gave me massive headaches & I never have headaches so I stopped and focused on food instead and it worked sooo incredibly well !

I do the cycle too: chop it because it's become my pride but then regret it as soon as I walk out of the salon. So, I've started cutting my own hair so I can make the changes slowly and turn it into what I want vs. someone else's vision. The only difference with us though is I think long hair is 100% more manageable than short. I wash and style it once a week and that's it. With super long hair there are so many non-heat styling options. With short it gets frizzy and oily faster so more washes and styling...and heat.

Re iron chat: I’ve had an infusion and I also used the take the exact same iron supplements as you! They used to make me constipated too, but they are the best brand ones, a lot of others make it worse. Regarding getting the actual infusion I can’t really comment because I went under for surgery and they gave it to me then because my iron sits at a low lever of like 10 at all times… I actually just had my iron checked and it’s sitting at 149 which means the infusion has lasted me almost a year. I had it late last year!!! It made me feel amazing like an energiser bunny for the first few weeks. Then it plateaued out to just like feeling normal and not tired. If you’ve got the ability and option to get one 100% recommend ❤
