Nah, the symbiotes represent what you truly are. Symbiotes are like children peaceful, innocent and lack self control. They adopt the personality and behaviour of their hosts. Kasady is a killer so Carnage is psychotic killing machine. Flash Thompson is a war hero so agent Venom is a hero

@@FeliDJrah Peter's aggressive attitude with the black suit and change in behaviour is a result of his pent up anger and frustration from his life experiences. He has trauma and there's this vengeful feeling inside him he always keeps suppressed. There's a comic called Spider's Shadow and another comic I forgot about where Spider-Man kills his villains after he snapped and he even slapped the crap Outta the Kingpin after he lost pretty much everyone and was about to Loose Aunt May. Contrary to popular belief, the symbiote doesn't make him evil. The symbiote believed itself to be helping Peter when it went out during night to fight crime while Peter was asleep. The symbiote was then rejected by Peter when he found it was a living thing and Eddie Brock was at his lowest point in life after losing his job, girlfriend and the goodwill in his father after the continuous humiliation and damage to his reputation for which he blamed Spider-Man and Peter and he became venom. The hatred was mutual but venom wasn't an evil villain in particular.

1:12 What I love about this is that, throughout the game, Harry calls the symbiote a thing, which may have altered it further and made it happy to leave Harry for Peter. Here, as Harry is getting possessed by the symbiote, you can see its anger for people calling it a "thing" coming through.

Harry piped Gwen in the back door and he got a severe STI. Then he had to hobble to oscorp. But on the way, Sergei Kravinoff ran him over and forced him to platinum my friend peppa pig. After that tragic experience with little to no brain cells left, Norman decided that Harry was no longer fit to live on earth and then sent him to Elon musk who was in the middle of a rocket launch. Harry got trapped in the rocket and he got launched at supersonics speed into the abyss we call space. On his journey he collided with the meteorite and then the symbiote bonded with him and he then became venom hence why he killed kraven, Elon and Norman. Revenge.
