@@scottishlad7497 Yes ! Totally agree. All the action with Carnage was pretty cool, but I was mostly just interested in more Eddie and Venom interaction. BTW, I like your idea that it should have been made into a series ! I can’t get enough of their random domestic shenanigans, like Venom helping Eddie solve murders, making him waffles and throwing out the TV, or the two climbing buildings, munching on criminals’ brains and getting drunk on that tropical island like a pair of dumbasses… There could be so much more to do with that !

In this case, supplying Venom with this chemical is what’s keeping him from becoming parasitic and eating his host from the inside out.

On a second thought, I think it's a win-win-win everywhere. Families get closure. Venom eats bad guys. City saves money. Good citizens are happy. Ms. Chen gets to sell all her stuffs, and Eddies is somebody.

Detective Venom doesn’t deserve an Oscar, he deserves his own spin off series for the MCU called “Detective Venom”, a detective for hire called Eddie Brock who’s investigating unsolved/unknown mysteries and using his powers to protect the city. Just like DC have Lucifer, MCU should have Detective Venom.
