Yes! Edit : I just wanted to add with anything plastic, make sure you're monitoring it for chewing, and if you notice any, remove the item.

Great ideas. Question: All of the flour bags that I have say do not use flour raw, always cooked. It is harmful to eat raw for humans. What is your thought on that? Thanks!!

Thank you. The small amount of water and flour mixed together should not be an issue for your gerbils. I may be mistaken, But I believe eating raw flour is a risk for humans due to the fact that it is that it is not cleaned in any way, and there is a risk of contracting e coli. With animals, e coli can be present in them already, so they are unlikely to get sick from the flour. Atleast, that's what my quick Google research says. :)

I saw 2 gerbils at the pet store so I ordered supplies but the were sold the next day ... the other store only has one single gerbil available so I'm gonna wait till the pet store gets more... great videos thank you!!

Some willow balls have styrofoam in it. I just stick to the ones you can see through.

If you buy ones specific for small pets, Styrofoam shouldn't be an issue. For crafting, I would say be careful.

I’m new and I was wondering what do you use for food? I’m on a budget and someone said I should make my own but don’t have the money for that. Is there any commercial brands you like to use? Thx it would really help me out!!

Hey ! Welcome:) I have a video on my channel where I make my own gerbil food, in my own experience this is more costly. I really like the vitasmart rat gerbil and mouse diet, in the what I feed my gerbils video on my channel you can see all the products I used for them before the DIY mix ! I need so help! My gerbils love to completely cover their food dish with their bedding any ideas for what I can do? Any information is super appreciated!

What i advise is to remove the food bowl, and instead scatter feed. Just throw some food around all areas in their home. This is more natural for them, and encourages foraging. This way, the bowl doesn't get covered. :)

@@TheGerbilVine Hi, I’m new here and a new gerbil mom as well,love your channel. My question is, with 10 or more inches of bedding can they still find little pieces of grain ? Also the homemade food isn’t complete and balanced, so you supplement with the other food ? You also give the one for rat/mouse, don’t they make for gerbils ? TIA
