If I was petrol mad and a car enthusiast, I'd still buy a German TSI, TFSI or whatever but because of my high mileage, I probably get a diesel due to the efficiency and high mileage capabilities. Petrol engines always fall apart a lot before diesels no matter the reliability, so reliability isn't my only concern

Done, survived. Did that to a Passat, somehow the wiring in the hinge broke… now the rear left door has speakers but they don’t do anything and if you manage to close the door, because it’s all bent, you can actually still roll down the window 😹 I stick with Honda.
