Thank you George. You were actually successful in capturing all the beauty, romance and poetic side of what Cielo Drive used to be. Sadly that was prior to the unspeakable event that later shattered plans for so much happiness that could have been.

Lovely house but I would not be able to live somewhere that something that tragic happened. It is a shame they tore it down. I read somewhere that Sharon's father had to clean the crime scene. That is so awful. My heart breaks for all the families. Poor Sharon and the baby..

Good Video George. 10050 Cielo Drive was a prime location that attracted notable and often beautiful characters. The structure that replaced the old house is far more elaborate, but somehow has less character. Unfortunately I can't think about that old house without thinking of the deranged Manson family slime that laid such a load of negative vibes there.

Candice Bergen, when she was married with Louis Malle (french director) came often to France...Their house was close to my mine...and Michèle Morgan is a french actress..she lived in Hollywood during the second World War

Sharon, how I wish I could have saved you and your baby and your friends, my name is Wendy I am 71 years old, when it happened I was 19 years old, I remember it so clearly. I was a hippie or flower child. I stood for kindness and love towards one another. Poor sharon, on that terrible night! Remember this, believe it or not god knew what would happen, and I believe the angels took her and her baby, and her friends straight to god! She is and all of her friends who died that night are with god in heaven and her baby is in her arms! Her family and husband will see her again some day! Believe that! She is with god and her baby. God bless them all for they did not deserve that awful night. Hippies stand for love not hate. Bless you all who died that night, and especially a little boy who never got to meet his mother, but he is with her now! Peace and love to you all that died that night. Peace.

I was only 1 yr. Of age when Shaton Tate was murdered. It affects me to this day after I became old enough to know what happened to her. It breaks my heart. Her son would have been my age today. Her mother NEVER recovered. Who could blame her.

It is very sad if, because if it is true that you say that Sharon's father had to clean the crime seems very strong, I never heard that but I hope it is not true because poor father, if they say that dinner was invited Bruce Lee who could not go , maybe if Bruce had gone the story would have been different truth? George, do you think Sharon really had a prescient "dream" or vision of a ghost warning her about her and Jay's future violent demise when she stayed at his place, the supposedly haunted house where Paul Bern had died? I know her sister discounts it, but it was supposedly published in "Fate" Magazine a year or so before Sharon and Jay died. I know Sharon told her friend Sheila Wells that she had seen ghosts and believed in reincarnation.

The wiki on 10050 Cielo Drive states that actress Olivia Hussey also lived there. Does anyone know if this is true & what time period this would have been.
