I am a 97 year old man originally from Europe and I do the rebounder twice a week for the last 50 years and I still feel viral as if I was 25. It really works. I agree with Sandy, eating a health diet is also key.

I have a Belicon rebounder that I have not used in quite a while because I’m lazy. I’m 67 years old and the couple of times I tried to get back on it I got tired so quickly and I used to be able to do it every day for 20 minutes with no problem whatsoever. Thank you for inspiring me to get it back out and use it again. I just ordered the weighted jump rope that you have so I’m excited to try that also❤😃

@@Robin7-26. I’m 77 and never used a rebounder before. I had to start 3 minutes a couple times a day. After a month, I’m up to 10 minutes 1-2 times a day. Modified jumping. I can’t really get my feet completely up in the air. But I can twist or rotate one foot out to the front or side. I’m surprised to be able to do 10 mins since 3 used to exhaust me. Don’t give up. I see it’s a very good thing to do….whatever you do.

I got a rebounder a week ago after learning NASA uses them to put the astronauts back together. It's fantastic for little exercise snacks throughout the day (new research says consistent small bouts of moving are better than an hour in the gym but being sedentary the rest of the time). It takes up soooo much space in my tiny studio in NYC, but since I can always see it I'm always reminded to jump!

Sandy, when did you start rebounding consistently? My cellerciser is arriving this week and I am SO excited! 👏 Thank you for making these videos- I've watched all of your rebounding videos (there aren't a ton on KZfaq) and it's getting me even more pumped up to begin.

I do not currently have a rebounder, but after watching this, I definitely want to invest in one! Thank you for taking the time to explain this. I have heard about these, but I hadn't actually seen anything on how to use them.

Yay! It is FUN! So you won't get bored with it. Someone else made a comment on here and said he is 97 and uses his rebounder twice a week. Its effective for any age!

I got one with a safety bar as it’s so easy to have accidents on rebounders but I could not use it! Hard as I tried Sandy! So I got a weighted vest and used it on a treadmill going walking to the beach and whilst doing housework stuff!! Yeah victory and great for Osteoporosis or osteopenia too :)

@@rabbitgirlz4380 Charlene Johnson goes through the various good ones from Amazon x however I got mine for $300 from the US( I live in Australia) recommend by a physiotherapist as it has removable weights on the vests like skinny chocolate bars that you can adjust x I’ll look for company and get back to you! Always start with 5 lbs to begin! Hope this helps x

Interesting. There are different HIIT timings; I've been doing "tabata" which is 20 seconds max effort, ten seconds rest, eight cycles for a total of four minutes, full rest for two minutes, then another four minutes tabata, repeat as tolerated. In case you haven't heard it lately, Mr. Steinbrook is a lucky man.

I agree. There is more than one way to get the same benefits. I think it’s the pushing hard…and then rest…that makes it effective, regardless of the time. Rather than constant pushing with no rest. Thanks for sharing the way you do it! We can all learn from each other this way.

Great video Sandy, I’m in an apartment and worry about making noise with one. With the jumping does it cause noise from the rebounder?

Mine does not move around at all while jumping. It is solid. A spring one will need oiled over time. The bungee ones do not, but I have read where people have to change the bungee chords because they break sometimes. You hear a little noise while jumping on either, but it's not a noisy sound. The great thing about Amazon is you could get one and if you find it makes noise, send it back.

My shins are looking like yours. But above the knee i still need to build the muscle. May i kmow how long have u been rebounding. My stomach is still hanging. Its been 3 months. Hope i get a flat tummy one day.

Age and hormones has to do with belly fat too. For women, anyway. A huge part of our bodies is what we eat. Following a diet of eating good whole, real food is so important. There are so many nasty processed and sugar so called foods in the grocery that are bad for us

We had a trampoline for our kids as they were growing up. They loved for me to get on and jump and play with them. I was in the best shape of my life!
