I bought them and they are MOGAMI, they are cheaper bc they are assembled by WBC that's about it, I took cable apart and they are 100% real. FOR REAL!

Yes dude... WBC are based in the US, buy Mogami and Canare cables in bulk (reels) and produce cable assemblies with Neutrik and Amphenol connectors. Mogami obviously have their own cable assemblies but will sell them at a higher markup, but Mogami make most of their profit selling bulk cables to 3rd parties and studios. Yes all Mogami cables are made in Japan, whether its the cables (reels) or cable assemblies with connectors (e.g. Mogami Studio Gold).

Just ordered 6 2ft TS (for my 3 trier Elektron Dark Trinity setup) and a pair of TRS for my new Virus TI2. It's a bitter pill to swallow spending $110 on cables, when there are so many more fun things to spend it on .. It'll probably take another 2 or $300 to upgrade the rest of my studios cabling eventually, but at least these cables hold their value and can last a lifetime in a non-touring situation. I actually canceled another order for XLR to TRS cable using Mogami 2534 wire (Quads) -- too many tradeoffs with the wire type that emphasizes enhanced EMI reduction; if EMI isn't already huge issue for you, (which it isn't here) 2534 can muffle some of the high frequencies, so it's not ideal, imo. I guess I'll try to find some XLR/TRS with 2549 wire; Just couldn't find any on Amazon atm.

I’ve had my eyes on the WBC cables for sometime now. I currently run HOSA for all my Mics and Speakers 🔊 as a Mobile DJ. On the Interconnection side My Pioneer DDJ-REV1…I’m running Roland Black Series into my Mackie ProFX6v3 I’m waiting on my RANE ONE to arrive from back order, I intend on running The XLR Mains into my Mixer with WBC cabling. My Current MIDI Controller is RCA and The RANE ONE is XLR both on MAINS & BOOTH outs my run will be 5ft. THANK YOU for this incredible video!

WBC buys the cable in bulk from Japan and connects from Lichtenstein and assembles them in the good old USA 🇺🇸

Dammit, I just bought an XLR cable that hasn't even arrived yet and now I see this after shopping for weeks. I ordered 10' Hosa HMIC Pro for $20, whereas yours are $35 (10'). I would have bought these in a flash had I known about them. I made my choice based on the 20AWG balanced wires, so while I'm a little disappointed, they should work fine. I'd return them, but I wouldn't have a good reason to and don't want them to end up in an Amazon pallet pile. But, I also need a 10' instrument cable, so this brand is the one I'm going with and I'm using your link to search and buy it if I can find them.

Our touring band built looms out of 6 of these XLR's. They are as robust as the full price Mogami's from sweetwater. About to make a second order.

Besides the warranty difference, the Mogami ones have additional stress relief. Are the cheaper ones Mogami? Looks like it. Are they Mogami Gold Studio Quad Series? Who knows. I ordered one and will compare it to my Mogami ones. Even if they are Mogami I will still prefer my $80+ dollar cables. The lifetime warranty and the fact they are Mogami and were put together at a Mogami factory gives me peace of mind.

@@Dracomies I have always been curious about these because Mogami Gold Series cables are my favorite but since each one of mine costs at least $80.00 I only use them for microphones upstairs. The other cables in the setup are still good quality cables but with the massive amount of cables I have if every cable was a Mogami Gold Series cable the cost would be so much that my calculator wouldn't want to due math anymore.

I have a Mogami manufactured SPDIF, their 2964, and also have the WBC's 2964 with Amphenol ACPR-SRD Die-Cast, Gold Plated RCA Connectors. Putting the two side by side, the near triple the price Mogami made cable looks cheap in comparison. The connector with "stress relief" looks like a cheap RCA connector with a spring attached to it. WBC, $20 vs $53 for the Mogami, identical cable. No brainer in my book, WBC for the WIN!

I haven't heard of that before. All of my Mogami cables seem slightly better. The cost is a lot higher but you also get a better warranty and the confidence in knowing that it was made at the Mogami factory which means a lot to pros.

It just has the same components. So a lot of audio engineers will say that Mogami cables are easy to make if you have the parts. This is just a vendor that makes them, the components are all Mogami.

Here's their contact info: perstaff.com/ Making Mogami cables isn't rocket science. Audio engineers talk about making them all the time by putting the components together. This is just a vendor who makes them for you (as a middleman) and these are Mogamis, made with Mogami 2534 wire and Neutrik NC3MXX-B Male & NC3FXX-B Female XLR connectors. I've used these for years and these are really great. You can also hear feedback from many people from the audio engineering community who vouch for them as well.

Message them off Amazon, I have when I wanted a custom cable made, they got back to me the same day, they are out of Texas. Good guys, only cables I use, never had an issue with any.

The thing is that making a Mogami cable isn't rocket science but it requires soldering know-how and the components. You would need these components: Mogami Quad Cable W2534, Neutrik NC3MX-BAG Male XLR, Neutrik NC3FX-B Female XLR, lead cutters, wire strippers and solder station. This vendor just makes it for you and offers a 10 year warranty. I've used these for many years and these have been fantastic.

China made? The cables I own are made in Japan, the WBC guys are in Texas where they assemble many. they may have a facility building cables in China, but I have spoken with them before, and they do manufacture in Texas.
