Thanks Whisky Lock! I tried this with my Shirakawa 1958 and it made it taste and smell like a £50,000 whisky when it only cost me £25,000. Incredible.

I find that nosing my dram while sitting on the floor gives me a better experience as the air pressure in the room is the greatest there. This causes the whisky to volatilize at a greater rate, enhancing the aromas.

Inversely, holding your glass above your head should make the flavours last longer 😂

Personally i've filled all my bottles with jura and red label. People won't taste the difference anyway. The looks on their faces when i start mixing them with coke? Priceless!

This tip is fantastic! With this one simple trick I can now make my bottle of Proper Twelve taste like Redbreast 21 and also make it last for several years! Yay!😆🤣
