Hey Everyone! It's Dr. Nate here, Board Certified Orthodontist who wants to let you know my 3 tips to get out of braces faster.
I guarantee if you do these three things, you will finish your treatment faster. They aren't the hardest things to do, but you have to be consistent.
1. Keep your teeth clean! It's very important to make sure your teeth and gums stay healthy. Teeth move better in healthy tissue. You will also avoid white/yellow/brown stains if you keep your teeth and gums healthy.
2. Come to your appointments on time! So many people just don't show up to their appointments. You can't expect to miss a few appointments and still get your braces off in time.
3. Follow instructions, especially when it comes to rubber bands. I can't tell you the number of people who get done early because they just follow instructions so well. If we say wear your rubber bands all the time, that means all the time. If you only wear them sometimes, then you will definitely be in treatment longer.
