I completely agree with this advice. My personal experience. When I was living in Mumbai suburbs and spending lot of time with aimless friends , my father was worried what would I do with my life. He was a mechanical engineer himself. He solve the problem with just one stroke ! Moved to a new house which was surrounded by educated families. That’s it !!! I was in 9th standard at that time. I made new friends who were talking about studies and exams even while playing cricket. This completely changed my own perspective. By the grace of God I developed deep interest in studies and cracked entrance exam and secured MBBS seat without any donation in a government medical college !! And then never looked back. I maintained good friend circle and contacts with successful seniors and was Gold Medalist in the final year MBBS ! Then went on to become a Pediatrician and then a Pediatric Intensivist. My great father died two years ago. I miss him sorely , and salute his great vision. His one decision of changing my friend circle , back in 1986 , changed everything for me forever.

Same here, I've got myself detached away from toxic friends,who only like to smoke, drink,party and roam around!!! I also did the same for around 3years!!!but later on I realised this ain't landing me anywhere in Life, these are all bullshits!!! I tried to make them understand about life and goals, they didn't care, and so I left, and now I've very selected friends left, and I'm happy!!!😊 with this decision of mine!!! They were a total Distraction of my life!!! I was giving away my valuable time!!! But now I think thrice before giving away my time to anyone!!!🍂

Sir , from childhood I was good in science and maths , so I gave least importance to English . Because somewhere within me I had a feeling that without English I can do wonders. But I faced a lot of difficulty when I reached class 8 then I started paying attention to English. I started reading with your book's because in your book launguage used was easy for a beginner. My first book which I read of yours was five point someone. It was such a good book , full of humour and great story. Yesterday, I again started reading your books . It has been a decade when I last read that book. Thanks for that awesome book. Currently I work AS PRODUCT MANAGER AT MICROSOFT DUE TO WORK LOAD I HARDLY GET TIME TO DEVOTE TO READING. BUT THAT READER HAS AGAIN ROSE UP .

Thanks sir for this video. Gave me a reality check. Came to watch this video when realisation hit me really hard. A so called friend always put me down when I share my dreams and goals with him..in the name of reality check he tells me how difficult it is to get a top rank. He is always like bas exam clear ho jaye aur job mil jaye. I don’t remember, when was the last time he supported my goals, we are preparing for the same exam but I realised that he is giving exam just for the sake of giving it. Not driven as I am.
