OK, so there isn't actually a Launch Control mode on the JCW manual, this is just going for an optimum start. And good content, but please clean your car ;-)

Thanks so much! Yeah gravel road life... you take your car and get it detailed but by the time you get home it’s covered in dirt again! It’s a vicious cycle! Haha

@Matt Wright Yeah, I wouldnt do it all the time as its not very good on the car, but it makes fast 0 - 60 times. Although, its not as bad on newer MINIs as the ECU is designed to cut power when you do that.

Finally understand what Launch Control refers to......but does it serve a function other than the Vroom Vroom one?

Does your car have no lift shifting. I have a 2015 and it doesn’t.

What trim do you have? The dealership told me it did when I bought it, but it might not be standard on all cars.

I have an S, and I if I don’t lift, it would rev way up in rpms

I wouldn’t suggest doing it regularly, but it can shave of time on 0-60 runs. I was doing it in the video so the camera would remain steady lol

I was powershifting as it made things steady for the camera. You can do that for quick shifts but it wears the clutch down quickly so don’t normally shift that way.
