One of the best ways to get to know Sarasota Florida is by driving through the area to different places. Join me on this driving tour as I will narrate to provide you with additional insights. This video will give you a better idea of the Sarasota region, how big Sarasota is, and the distance between major points of interest.
We will start off in Palmer Ranch (South Sarasota) towards Siesta Key, then to the bayfront park in downtown Sarasota, over the Ringling Bridge towards St. Armands Circle with a stop on North Lido Beach, back over the Ringling Bridge towards The Bay Sarasota, and then finally a drive through downtown Sarasota and the Rosemary District.

Katrin, absolutely fabulous video. Before the damn pandemic, we frequented Sarasota 10-12 years in a row, we love it there, haven't been back since 2019. I just love the Ringling Bridge and Armand Circle (we stay on Ben Frank Drive Lido Beach) as well as UTC, downtown etc. Been in the 'Columbia' tons of times (also the one in Celebration too) but yet to try 'Shore', everyone raves about it. We live in Scotland so we'll be back as soon as the grief + hassle of travelling is over, keep uploading these brilliant videos, makes our day.

The shoreline and mountainous terrain in SCA make it look a bit different to me but both are great places to live in.

Katrin I’m planning to move to Florida after living in Chicago for 17 years. I wish I could have met you for a coffee and talk for hrs. You seem super intelligent and easy going. I don’t know where I wanna go but I’m intrigued by Tampa, sarasota and Naples. I will keep watching your videos.

Thank you for the tour, Katrin. So fun to see many of the familiar areas there on your video. My husband and I have vacationed on Siesta Key for the last four winters and it is my favotie place. Trying to buy real estate on the Key was too expensive for us, so we bought a condo in North Sarasota this April. Now we can be there anytime we want. I have to drive to the beach, but that's a small sacrifice!

The best thing I did was leave this city its nothing to do boring no jobs , I live in Hallandale Beach which is next Miami and Hollywood Beach the night life is amazing and its always some were to go and enjoy yourself

I'm currently here from Iowa, did some of the same drive on Tuesday. Absolutely love Sarasota!! I was wondering how much will the driving pattern change during the busiest time in the summer.

I live near Yoder's just north and west of Bahia Vista ... nice houses built in the late 50s are going for half a million... many are turned into airbnbs and you could not meet nicer people

@@johnmilner6505 John, of course, a realtor will make more on a home that costs more assuming the agent got the deal. You are failing to see the bigger picture here though. First of all, I am driven by making customers happy, not by pushing them into a costlier situation. Secondly, the market was not very friendly to agents. Most are probably very, very happy that it is cooling. Why? Most homes got plenty of offers but only one can make it through. The market was insanity and thank goodness it is cooling. I have been in situations where one listing got 40 offers. Do the statistics here.

Hey Todd, I am actually from NYC and visit often. I don't agree that traffic is worse in Sarasota than in the places you mentioned above. In the contrary. In terms of crime, last time I checked, the rates were higher in the areas up North that you mentioned.
