From Hops to Happiness: Inside Sureshot Brewing with James Campbell
We chatted with James Campbell from Sureshot as part of our Manchester tour. Founded in 2020 and releasing its first beers in 2022, Sureshot has been a long-term project of James Campbell. James has been instrumental in developing new-wave British brewing, a serial head brewer at some of Manchester’s most respected independent breweries and a pioneer of the best in new world styles and hops to the UK.
Sureshot Brewing is all about bringing joy to beer-high-quality, small-batch-from the beating belly of Manchester. Run by a small team of industry veterans, Sureshot takes beer seriously but not itself. They focus on what people love: hoppy IPAs, clean lagers, and flavourful, easy-drinking pale ales.
