Excellent.... first of you guys "seasons/hunts" that i have watched, but I liked the way it was put together with you all filming it yourselves and how it shows all aspects of travel, before, after, and the challenges of getting to some of these areas. I live in Sitka and its fairly similar terrain and having to deal with the same challenges of crossing streams, getting through the tough terrain, and especially the using of boats to get into these areas... I'll keep watching!

This has been one of the coolest hush series ever. Between the boat set-up, the fishing, the scenery, the variety of hunting options (especially the blacktails) this has been an highly enjoyable watch. Well done fellas. PS: the more blacktail hunts the better 👍

Wow! That was by far one of the best series of hunting videos that I’ve found on KZfaq! I think it’s called binge watching! Lol I’ve been checking out different transporters for a Kodiak hunt and Ninilchik seems like a good outfit! Can’t wait to experience Alaska for myself!! Great filming guys!!!

What’s funny is in summer that vegetation is so thick, you can’t see! That’s lush alders and the grass is almost head high, and that’s where the bears bed down during the heat of the day in summer. You guys down south have no idea!😉😂🤪

Great series 👍 As far as why waterfowl shooting hours differ from the game hunting is because they are “migratory” and fall under Federal Regs, fwiw

Ronald, also remember these are sea ducks in Alaska, the season is very short and limited, especially for out of state folks, plus the time of year to hunt it there is not much daylight. Only approx 9-4 in southern coastal Ak.

Would your duck hunting equipment have been any different? (Lose the motion/splasher duck, fewer or more blocks, neoprene waders, etc.). Looks like with the transporter relationship you'll need to fly the decoys in. Is that what you did? Could you at least use a fishing lure weight for the long line? Great series! Just got residency in AK and adding cervid hunting to my waterfowl experience. Its amazing how you all will have almost 12hrs of hiking and watching deer to come back empty handed and everyone is still pretty positive.
