That night was one of the best nights in the Fandom. Everyone was so hyped with the amazing performance and then the boys made history by getting the first ever Daesang sweep (won all the grand prizes). The next year there was no audience but they still did very very well, and last year they didn't attend at all. So for MMA this is the crown jewel.

It was epic.They literally fell to the ground back stage after this show, jimin couldn't even walk! They owned the show like it's their play ground

They actually won ALL major awards (daesangs) that night: Album of the Year (Map of the Soul: Persona), Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (Boy With Luv), and Record of the Year

This is the BEST one! It showcased EVERYTHING and the length of the entire performance kinda showed just how significant BTS was for the whole industry.

Fun fact: The lights that were coming down at the beginning of each member’s performance represented a star in the constellation Corona Borealis “the northern crown” - which is a representation of the crown that Dionysus gave to the princess Ariadne.

This is why they always perform last at every award show 😭

i love your reaction, you guys are hilarious. "It is a not an award show, it is BTS concert". Yes 2020 MMA is even more huge but this was already during pandemic so there was no live audience . By the way in 2019 MMA' BTS won all (8) awards they were nominated for that includes Album of the Year and Artist of the Year. See you again on your next MMA reaction.

For Dionysus each of them was a Greek god.

I was living in Korea at the time and saw this live. To answer a few questions, we got to see everything live except Mikrokosmos, JK's solo in the water, and the horses intro, which were all prerecorded. Their set was legit 40 minutes long, it was 1000% a BTS concert! The MMA's knew this, so they let BTS perform last. If I remember correctly (my brain was annihilated by this performance), the only award given out after their performance was the Daesang, the biggest award given, which was presented to BTS. The entire audience were ARMYs I swear. There were fans of other artists there of course, but the respect for BTS was enormous, it was beautiful to see. It was their night, and I'll never forget it. Loved the reaction!! Good luck recovering LOL

MMA 2020 is not as big as this one because it was during the pandemic, and therefore each artist had to perform separately each one in their studio/stage, so without an audience and without anything else, they really managed to still give a good presentation

They really did this performance untill they faint end of their limit more, when i saw the behind the scene of this performances i was cried seeing much how much exhausted they were and jimin ws abt to faint and all 7 members did to end of their energy limit for showcasing this performance not only this in on all other performances too they do perfectly and to the enjoyment for army, i'm literally i respect them a lot to their hardwork and talent [OT7] 💜💜🤞🤞💜💜

After the 35 minute performance , bts won all 4 grand prize awards . It was the first time in kpop history that 1 group did a clean sweep of daesang awards.. bts won over 400 awards thus far .

I actually watched MMA 2019 Live ... the performance was indeed insane
