Ай бұрынOur special guest will be 21 year FDNY veteran FF Charlie Gagliano. He joined the FDNY in October 1968 and was assigned to Engine 235 in Brooklyn. In May 1974 he transferred to Ladder 103. He worked there until his promotion to Fire Marshall in may 1984. He retired in 1989. I am sure he hasn't seen any fire. I had the privilege to work with his son Mike in Engine 290. Wonder how he got there ;). We will get the whole skinny. You don’t want to miss this one.

Charlie was the greatest chauffeur ! When crawling into a hot smoky building it was a great feeling to hear the roof saw going and to feel and see the building venting. Charlies knowledge of the buildings and his ability to place the truck and aerial ladder properly and very quickly made a huge difference. It was a honor and a privilege to work with Charlie Gagliano. I always felt grateful and lucky i was working with the best firemen in the best fire house in the world.
