if he was bitten in the late 1700's then he would have already been over a century old before he was a vampire. since the movie states he was 379 years old in 2014, he was born in 1635. 👀

The viewfinders on old cameras did, that's all. Vampires can be filmed and photographed just like anyone else.

vampires are only immune to mirrors because mirrors used to be backed with silver. in the movie it would make sense for them to not appear in centuries old mirrors, but these days they would be able to see themselves in any sort of reflection

Digital cameras don't have mirrors, dslr cameras do use mirrors
