Thank you for sharing this with the world at large, All the best man. How many interviews for assessment did you have to go through before selection? Also, highlight the types of assessments used in the selection process. Kindly.

Hey! Thanks for your Comment! To answer your question: I had to go through quite a few interviews, I forget the exact number at the moment. I think it was 4 or 5. The assessments were usually in stages starting with a phone interview asking me about my general interest to gauge if I was a fit with what they were looking for. The second and third were mostly tests about my knowledge, skills, and ensuring I could actually do what I said I could. They mostly vary depending on the Unit you apply to. For me, It was a test with my excel skills, as well as communication and writing skills. The last one was mostly about a back and forth question and answer session stemming from those tests and seeing my thought process rather than a right or wrong answer. Hope this helps! All the best!

Thanks! It took a few weeks to hear back from them. Can’t speak much about the rejection email since they get hundreds of applications for each role, so I reckon it’s difficult for them to reach out to everyone. Hope that helps!

Ask your interviewer/recruiter! While this will largely depend on your area of expertise and field, ask them what to expect! While it might seem simple, they understand you're applying to be an intern, and they would be happy to assist you.

I was largely involved within my university departments which I think gave my resume some strength and experience. However, with that being said, there are people from all walks of life at wfp. I'd very much encourage you to apply if you think there is a role that matches your educational experience.

I encourage you to apply for sure. However, having atleast some experience for the position you're applying for will boost your chances :)
