It's Christmas time in Animal Crossing! And that means Jingle, Snowmen, and Igloos are out! For many players, this was the first time they ever played Animal Crossing, getting this game as a Christmas present. Personally, I played Animal Crossing for the very first time around Christmas back in the day. In fact, the very first thing I ever did in this game is push around a snowball at a friend's town. So I decided to relive those fond memories by building Snowmen and visiting Igloos to collect every Snowman and Igloo item in the game in a casual(ish) play style.
Starting with a brand new town, my goal is to collect every Snowman and Igloo item in the game in one Winter season and then decorate my house with them.

Fun Fact: The perfect snowman requires no more than 10% variance between the head and body size. The actual range is 80%-90% of the body size. There are three other snowman "quality" levels: 70%-79% or 91%-100% is "good", 60%-69% or 101%-110% is "okay" and anything else makes the snowman regret being born.

as someone who first got animal crossing population growing for christmas, this is absolutely perfect! I still specifically remember that when I got it I didn't really understand how to set the clock, so when I was begging my parents to let me stay up late to see the new year's eve fireworks (I was like 7 so midnight was kind of out of the question) it turned out that the midnight fireworks were at like 7pm so I still got to see them!
