I feel your pain my brother. I have a sister just like that. My parents are gone but, my sister is still at it. It's amazing how some people never give up. The saddest part is my sister is way better off than my parents were. She never stops. Keep up the good work. BTW, you have a keeper there in your true love.

That is why i stay away from my family today. When i had my heart attack and they called my brother to let him know, he didn't even know who I was. When i called for some help to get to the doctor's office, because he didn't want me to drive at the time, my brother had every excuse why he couldn't come to help, so i said don't bother me anymore. I haven't seen them in years, my parents passed a number of years ago.

Family is a funny old thing, we all have them and there is always one, referred to as the black sheep of the family. My word they give us, the rest of the family a hard time. My own experience was at the end of the confrontation which lasted 7 years was I felt, that I had been raced, rallied and rolled. Good to see you and Orwell made it through the mud called family. 11:50 Man, I really like the way you think ahead and anticipate potential problems; Letting the engine warm before you fire it; reminds me of the old drag race days; we linked heater hoses with the tow truck and warmed the race engine before firing it; also doing precheck on the trailer while trailer parking brake is released and its airing up; taking note of the air sounds, hissing, creaks, pops, and knowing what is normal; making sure the wheels aren't locked; tire and airbag inflation systems are working; Other trucking videos just don't show these things. Great video

Never seen FSC Trucking before now, Good video, Love your PB cab over. Back in the day when I was young, early 70's, I worked at Empire White Trucks in Syracuse NY. Ervin Steel was the owner. Fresh out of the Army back than, We worked on the different trucks, although I being the youngest of the old timers who where fast closing in on their retirement years, I did most of the old walking beams and suspension work, trans clutch work, brake jobs and that sort of thing, Lots of Detroit work, Mack Ford and what all else.. I miss those days, life was so much simpler... I was more involved with Cat, I went back to the Local Cat dealer until I hired on with General Contractor, The Lord Bless you and yours

I have never had too pound on the brakes on a tractor that is why in the winter I don’t set the trailer breaks unless I am dropping the trailer but the tractor brakes all you have too do is lock up the power divider and backup and the brakes will let go. also watching you climb up into that peterbuilt brought back memories of driving a couple of cabovers like that and some older ones like 1978-79 and it brought back memories of opening the door on a windy day and not realizing that it was coming from the back of the trailer towards the tractor and had the wind take it out of my hand and the door slammed all the way open and broke the screws that attached the little strip on metal that is supposed too stop the door from going too far

Hi Steve and Jen good to see Orwell back and I got the same carp happen to me with my mom a PFA to stay away and I don’t more for her then the family I’m Pennsylvania. The only way I can see your sister to evict your mom and dad even owning the land I mean of she is a trailer rental company she could only evict on one thing and since it’s only one property she can’t just making an unnecessary mess of things Love seeing the car footage and Orwell back on the road I feel for what your going through Steve yes you got to do it tight but it pisses you off too Enjoyed the video thanks to you andJen😊 have a good week

Glad you are back. I'm loving it in Florida. Glad to be out of Southeastern Taxachusetts. I was master heavy truck technician. Worked for the Department of Public Works in Franklin for 13 1/2 years. Retired and moved to Florida!!!

I remember watching you before the green apu came along and as you have said Orwell did not like starting in the cold.Orwell would protest loudly,may be why the ring gear gave up.Must have been real hard on the starter.Cheers good to see you back up and running.

I just started my truck up after sitting since the 14th October. It is from a similar era, but a lot smaller. A 1983 Subaru Brat. I threw the charger on and she fired right up!

One trick I used I had a 4ft piece of drilling rod with a solid piece of hard plastic, so unless I had problems with brake chamber I used the rod and hammer even though the wheels worked fantastic 👍😁

I usually write the mileage and date on filters and parts with a permanent marker whenever change them.

Daws Trucking doesn't put it on the filters but they keep a service sheet in the binder with everything else. Anything I do or the mechanics do, gets written down on that as well as date and mileage. First sheet goes back to 9/2017 at 21,000 miles. The next entry should be in a couple weeks at 698,000 miles. Only been in this truck since 613,00 and that was in April when I started here.

You got lucky on the trailer tires rolling. I've got about 200 trailers to keep rolling. Plus, all of them are 30 plus years old. They are all storage trailers.
