Heads up: That's not a "sterling by music man". That's a music man sterling. A model they don't make anymore and really good. I was a fan whenever I got my hands on one.

Hello you beautiful people, old timer bass player here, Just wanted to tell you guys that the music man bass is an original Ernie ball music man model, not from the cheaper sterling series, and much more valuable. This bass models name is Sterling, (after Sterling Ball and he designed it as far as i know.) It differs from the stingray models in different ways, the pickup has a different magnet material and distance to the bridge, the preamp is different, and the three way switch is for parallel and series ,and lastly for single coil (with a ghost coil to cancel out hum! how cool is that!). The visual cues is that the body is smaller than the stingray, and no controlplate, the neck is slimmer and not so wide, the differences between these basses ar like the differences between a p-bass and a jazz bass (ish), the sound is different also. This is a lovely bass, it is one of my main basses, and i can see the confusion as it is called the same as the budget series, it has got to create a lot of confusion. The joe dart signatures are designed over this bass, just without the active electronics. Keep up the good work, i enjoy the videos and enjoy the vibe , you two have a nice day

Nice collection! How cool that you both play instruments, and together sometimes. I wish I had someone nearby to collaborate with. I have a Mexican Fender Jazz Bass (standard or E flat) and an Ibanez SR405EQM 5 string bass that I tune down a whole step (ADGCF), I also own 7 Ibanez RGs, a Schecter C-7, and a Fender acoustic/electric (the electronics need fixed, but it's a very nice acoustic).

In the quest for a quality short scale, a look at the G&L Fallout is a must. I have 3 of the Tribute series Fallout basses and they are fantastic. All bought through G&L direct, one as B-stock clearance and the other two as "garage sale" items that needed a little work. But still all great basses

That Steinberger XZ25 is worth around $500-600, you guys missed out they were going for upwards of $1k for a little bit there a couple years back, no idea why, but people were HOT for these basses for a minute!

I know everyone’s situation in life is different, but I think it’s a shame that a guy can’t have six bass guitars. What is it that you can’t pay the water bill this month or are you going to go buy some saving bonds with the money to secure your retirement. Seems weird I’m in my 50s and I sold some guitars in my 20s and now I’ve gone back and found replacements that are the same year, make, and model. DONT sell any of them.

Videos like this, no matter what the subject matter, make me wonder if the people making them realize how arrogant and pretentious they sound. Was this video only made to generate negative engagement? Also why are you so condescending towards your husband? The guy seams really nice, you should have a tech look at his basses and have them set up and looked at.
