Getting the (Probably) Correct Rear Brake Pads for my Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart...Second Time Around

I thought I has sorted out the rear brake pads on the Z27AG Colt (see link below) but apparently not. So I went for Plan B: Project Mu Type PS brake pads. They worked out better. Jump to 2:04 for the punchline.

Looking forward to a long term review. 👏 Why did you not skim out the discs to have a fresh clean surface for the new pads? 🤔

Because that would require some basic level of common sense I am lacking, along with any actual mechanical skills. I had my local brake guys put them in and did not ask for them to machine the rotors. They could have anyway, but if so they did not mention it. On a positive note I never had the full on glazing you did, both are non steel materials and as such hopefully compatible, and improvement in grip was apparent even before bedding in so hopefully I have got away with it.

Hi noob Question is the brake pedal use all 4 wheels brakes > or only the front ?

All 4 wheels, but the reality it the fronts do most of the work. To get the back brakes working you need them to be high friction from low temperatures.

I have the brembo front they are shit. And all people that have same car and same brembo pad can confirm. But hey are immortal. They like dont get use. Also dont overheat. Best pad are carbon Lorain RC6 if you have the money. Tremmendous stoping power and work from col to super hot.. But i will go next for project Mu HC+ because they cost 50% less ...
