Coolers in shop are Evaporative Coolers or swamp coolers. Water runs down a pad or media as it brings in outside air. This works great when outdoor humidity is low. You also need to vent air in shop either by roof vents or slightly opening doors. The one in video that doesn’t blow air is probably a broken belt or seized motor. Hope this helps

We had a Rottweiler when I was a kid, Aida. Her original owner had her trained and made my dad go through an interview including several test visits with the dog before he could buy her. She was such a good dog, but not to intruders 🤣

Love the videos bob. You need a nice big fence for the front yard. That will keep the crazies away.

We live in a small 900 square foot home and two, 2 gallon humidifiers keep it comfortable in the winter. Having lived in more humid parts of the country we never got use to the desert air after 20 years here. You will need the humidity at least a little so you will not dry out and be more likely to get sick.

Great place. So many practical parts to the property. I would probably replace the small fence at the entrance with a high gated wall and line it with hedges That would deaden a lot sound from the street, add to the aesthetic of the front yard and make the place more secure Also, have you considered having your own steam sauna at the back

BWelcome to Vegas, Been here 5 years and love it. i would put a sensor on the drive entrance so you can be alerted if someone walks/drives in. good there is barb wire on the wall by the appts. I have seen kids hop over 6 foot walls like it was nothing.

Your side and back property line setback requirements are usually different but it depends upon the city/county that has jurisdiction over your building project. Call your local building inspectors office and they can tell you what you can/can’t do. They will help ya figure out what you can do

If it was my place I'd fence in the entrance with wrought iron and install a powered gate. I've seen these little cannons that fire a flash bang and the boom is equal to the boom of a stick of dynamite. You can set the distance you want the motion sensors to trip it at. Your new place is bad ass!

Glad to see you up and around. Definately need a tall gate and raise the fence height. A nice 350+ Rottweiler would work wonders for uninvited guests. If it wasn't California, those hiding spots could have been firearm drop points.
