We head back to the Philippines, bound for Boracay! But getting to Boracay isn't super straight forward, arriving in Caticlan Airport you then need a ferry to get to the island. ⬇ Click 'Show More' to expand ⬇
While this vlog was about how to get to Boracay and the Caticlan airport and ferry experience, future vlogs will be around our Boracay island trip. We've got 1 month to travel and vlog, mini vacation, and get some work done - this trip is November 2017.
The Philippines airport setup is a bit tricky, no one's really shown that on KZfaq so we thought it would be interesting to share, because it does impact tourism and people thinking you can just land in Boracay without needing the ferry as well. Either way, its all pretty straight forward.

I've been to boracay in the Philippines. It's a beautiful place. I was impressed by the blue sky, the sea, the local people's enthusiasm, the lively seafood market and the delicious seafood. But what I can't forget most is the feeling of sailing in the dusk. The setting sun and sea breeze completely relax my body and mind.

Life isn't fair!! I spent a Sunday morning watching all your Malaysia videos and now your first Philippine video watching you tasting delicious food with beautiful Stacey and I'm sharing a can of sardines with my cat....retirement is less than a year so I can then enjoy these destinations....thanks for the great videos!!! I've been to Thailand and Cambodia, but haven't thought much about Philippines so hope to learn a lot from your future videos....

Sardines and chill sounds fun as well though! You definitely should consider the Philippines, there's no language barrier compared to the other places you mentioned, the people genuinely are nicer and more thoughtful as well. If beaches are your thing they're also pretty incredible here. Food varies though, Thailand is our fav for food.

How funny that you uploaded this particular video today. My wife flew out of Chang Mai this morning and touched down in Manila at about 2:30 PM (I know your posts are a few days behind but it's still one of those of things). My wife is from the Philippines and will be there 2 or 3 months. She's still trying to talk me into going back, so I want some really in-depth reporting you two ;-) Have fun!

That is sort of ironic, 2.30 was the time we published! But yeah, we're running about 6 days behind at this stage I think :) Not sure Boracay is the place for you guys to visit, but we're enjoying our new place and being back in the culture. Hoping to get to the islands to share the real beauty.

Try to visit some undiscovered places here in philippines ...like in Sorsogon Bicol region they have white sandy beaches their like subic sorsogon famous for its clear blue water white sand beach and snorkeling and also visit Lola Sayong beach famous for its surfing spot in bicol then discover the historical site of barcelona in sorsogon its known as Barcelona Spain of the Philippines and also visit Mt bulusan lake for kayaking and experience cold spring in orok and hot spring of san binon .Sorsogon has many beautiful tourist spot I hope Sorsogon in Bicol region is your next travel bucket list .experience the land of magayun Sorsogon ...(magayun in english is beautiful)

Actually Sorsogon is my province and I want to show to the world that my province has a lot to offer in terms of beautiful tourist attractions many undiscovered paradise .as a tourism student im very proud to promote my country which is the philippines and my province Sorsogon Bicol Region to all of you. Glad you made it. My wife and I tried to go about 5 years ago.... Phuket>KL>Clark>bus to Manila>Kaibo>bus>ferry>Boracay....Ended up we were both coming down with colds, so we bailed at last minute. Lost out including non refundable hotel. Lessons learned... just couldn’t face that kind of travel day. We are off to Chiangmai in a week for the winter. 😄

Do yourself a favor if you ever go back and fly into CRK and then CRK direct to Bora. You can now avoid Manila completely with all the added flights in CRK. We will be in Bora for New Years. Our last vacation to Bora was 5 years ago so eagerly watching the series.

Thanks so much! We love getting comments like this with positive vibes. In terms of fitness - we eat pretty clean most of the time, except while vlogging hahaha. Thats also the advantage of travel slower, we get a gym membership for a few weeks or month and train hard :)

You must try the mojito at the cranberry pool bar. It’s the best. I recommend that you take a trip to Bantayan Island for 3 to 5 days also.

Definitely worth a visit, Gordon! Boracay isnt the most beautiful place in PH, thats for sure, but it's a good spot to be based for now. We're hoping to get to the islands after this time and share the realy stunning spots!

Love it! I know this experience all too well, especially that domestic flight to Boracay. It's always delayed no matter what airline you fly. You guys will be there for a month? This should be interesting. Can't wait to see it thru your eyes!

Haha it's ALWAYS delayed, in fact all most every flight we've taken in PH has been delayed haha. Yeah one month is a long time, not a heck of a lot to do here, but we've got a scooter and we're exploring where/when we can around getting some work done :)

Daneger and Stacey One month is wonderful. My wife and I were only in the Philippines for three weeks and that time went by super fast! I feel like it takes a couple weeks before you really get into the flow or groove of being there.

I really liked Boracay but found it a tad busy! Have you heard or seen a youtubers channel called Lost LeBlanc? He has made some awesome videos on the Philippines with hidden gems! Nice work guys. Keep going! PS Are you still on the G7X?

Less than one week in and we tend to agree, already decided not to extend our stay here and planning to hit the islands again! yeah we know Christians channel, he was here a few days ago, didnt get the chance to see him. Still on the G7X until I think the next upload, Saturday, where we use the GH5 for a bit of it :)

On a train in KL at 4 am and on Boracay what 12 or 13 hours later....its a pain for such short distances.

Im from usa, and am going to boracay to see my gf, but im so scared of getting there, ive never flown, and i dont know my way around the country and i don't know the language, im scared ill get lost

Almost everyone in the PH speaks English, you won't have any troubles there at all! Theyre lovely people.
