I plant my Aquascaper 1200 and show you how in this full tutorial - how to plant a beautiful aquascape. I use mostly plants recycled from my old aquascape and existing Aquascaper 600.
In the next episode I'll go into detail about the equipment I'm using including CO2 injecting, filtration and circulation, liquid fertilisers and maintenance practices.
Let me know what you'd like to see in the next episode and if you'd like to see new fish in here!
Keep on scaping!

Lovely 'scape as usual. I have found that setting up and maintaining a proper (not a fishbowl) tank, sensitises people of all ages to the environment and the way all parts therein rely on each other. The moment someone becomes sensitised as to how some 'simple' change can negatively/positively affect the tank, is an enormous learning opportunity.

Great series on this rescape of the 1200, looks awesome and can't wait to see this scape mature. If you're gonna stock SE Asian fish you should definitely get a ton of CPDs in there, or maybe some neon green rasboras, and a group of SAEs to run around together and keep the tank algae free. Some panda loaches would also look good in there and maybe a dwarf gourami as a feature fish or a really nice betta fish (could even just put Nimrod in there).

George. I love your videos. I find them very relaxing, informative and inspiring. I have 3 aquascapes currently. I just did my first rescape. It was out of necessity as I was fighting black beard algae. I made the mistake of introducing too much iron. Lesson learned the hard way. But at least, it made me create something new. I like the newer version. It would really be cool if you could put pictures side by side of the last scape next two this one so we can see the transformation. Using 90% of the same materials could really illustrate the creativity you put forth in the new scape. Thanks for everything you do!

I'm still thrilled you like crypts. That you still recommend them as beginner aquascapeing plants is still my favorite things. They're just... good. When they are left alone and get established, they're amazing.I love that you can do a whole tank in crypts even. Like, I like buce and anubias but crypts are just my crypt-onite in collecting. As for favorites..... right now I really like my pontederiifolia and my becktii 'Petchii'. They're just nice. I seem to end up with low-growing ones. It's just, a carpet of crypts.
