Jordan tried to warn Portia that she's making a mistake on keeping this secret. She'd know considering she did the same thing to her son TJ and Shawn. Portia was arrogant to think Trina would never find out. Some parents can hide a child's paternity well, others can't.

Those are the kind of secrets that would destroy a parents relationship with they’re kids regardless of they’re reasons Jordan was being selfish too lying to TJ and Shawn and it nearly costed Jordan her relationship with TJ

She wasnt warning her about the impact on Trina let's be clear. She was warning about Curtis and Curtis only. She should have taken her warnings to Curtis and leave Portia the hell alone. Curtis is the one she cares about so go tell him her suspicions. But she didn't do that because underneath it all she doesn't want to do the dirty work. That to me is a coward. She prefers to enlist Aunt Stella to do it for her. I have a feeling she will get reemed by Curtis for not telling him and I am so there for that. You put yourself all up in other people's business expect them to turn on you

Portia could have saved herself a lot of heartache by doing a DNA test in secret like everyone else does. She could have did it 18 years ago before Trina grew up and found the truth. She's a doctor for crying out loud. Then if Marcus was the dad no need for any of this. And if Curtis was the dad she would have had ample time to game plan. I'm on her side, it's complicated and we all make mistakes, but this is ridiculous.

I honestly hope they say Taggert really is Trina’s father just like how they said Gregory really was Chase’s father. I find it interesting how they never outright said if Stella and Trina were each others’ matches so maybe they’ll reveal it was some crazy coincidence and that they matched with completely different people and set it up to say Taggert really is her father

Found it odd that after twenty years Portia herself does not know who the father is and was able to say this in front of Trina, Taggert and Curtis .. To know is a basic responsibility... Saying this as a mom myself.

I find that odd myself. I mean she's a doctor. She could have done a DNA test in secret and private when Trina was a baby. If for nothing else but to get peace of mind and in case a medical situation arises. You're right, that's just being a mother.

I did at first too, but when she explained why she did it, I get it. It's easy to continue to believe something if you don't bother to find out if it's true and she needed to believe it was Taggerts baby so she didn't bother to check. I think this more the source of the pain for Curtis than the actual lie

@@KeshaSA It was ironic how in the previous scene when Trina had pointed out that Portia was a doctor...as if to say even she should have known better. I'm still pulling for Taggart to be the dad though and hoping that Portia is wrong .. being that she is not really sure..

@@carolharris2401 from that point of view it makes sense ,but her personal feelings got in the way of finding out for sure who Trina's dad was.... Trina is a lucky girl though because after all the drama blows over she will have to fathers who love her

Portia didn't want Trina to leave her alone with Curtis... LOL I know he's catching a lot of flack from everyone, but I like Curtis, and he's proven that he would do anything for Trina. With that said, I still want Taggart to be Trina's dad, and this would be the perfect time for Portia to find out she's pregnant!

The look on Trinas face when she saw Curtis and then ran to Taggert says a lot. I think part of why she is freaking out is that Curtis parenting style is very different from Taggerts. Curtis was already acting like her father before he even knew he was. She just got through establishing boundaries with him and now those boundaries will become blurred. Its going to be more difficult for her to fight for her independence. I see her staying with Spencer. I don't even though where Spencer lives. I think he is staying with Sonny. It will be interesting to see if she stays with Spencer or Joss

I wouldn't be surprised if Spencer ends up getting his own place for a fresh start. Remember he was talking to a realtor about buying a house. I hope they follow through with that. There's no way she wants to be anywhere near her mother or Curtis for that matter. I wouldn't be surprised if Trina stays with Spencer. If we're being honest, that's where she really wants to be.

I thought Trina lived in her dorm room but just stayed at her mom's house a lot because they're close. She might just go back to her dorm, though she and Joss have been drifting apart.

Not gonna lie when trina told joss and spencer that she had did the 23 and me test and found out she had a relative living in pc I instantly thought of gia whom was with nicholas but since they put trina with spencer the thought left my mind
