Assuming you had a Apex lol. I’m here cause mine just took a dump for the 3rd time in 3 years. Just bought this last night and paid overnight delivery. Great Video 👍

Yes, I used to be heavily invested in Neptune Systems but had a tank crash caused by the system that the techs at the time could not explain as the unit was running, but logs were not being produced, but it just felt like dosing everything into the tank at once. When it happened, I was across the county and could not do anything till taking a red-eye home, and the damage was done. That was almost five years ago, and I never looked back after the change. Since switching, I get my every 2-hour tank report via email and text messages of alarms. Most importantly, I have not had a unit crash, been away multiple times across the county, and never experienced an issue.

great video's on the profilux products. I am probaply going to buy this one especially for my tunze pumps, temperature control and the ph for a calcium reactor. I wont have a ph for my tank but I dont think it is worth 250 in total for that.

How is this going? I’m looking to replace my Apex classic with a profilux. In terms of reliability, would you recommend the powerbar 5.1 or take a risk(?) on the new 6.1e Powerbars? Thanks.

You can not go wrong with either. When GHL releases a product it very stable, and would get the new Powerbar 6e. In case others do not know GHL has released a new powerbar called the 6e. All the details of the powerbar are here. www.aquariumcomputer.com/products/profilux-accessories/powerbars/?fbclid=IwAR0--zAbG7vjlmduZvuauxzQtT9Cu-NzZ9XujOd2WU6Z8eV719zmH7qFeL4

Do you need the powerbar to control a heater?
@KR-id6bl5 жыл бұрын
Do you need to plug the heater into the powerbar is always a trick question. Do you need to, the answer is no, depending on the type of heater if it has a internal thermostat you do not need to, with caution, and if it does not have a internal thermostat you will need to so that the P4 controls the heater on and off. Heaters with a internal thermostat do not need to be plugged into the powerbar but you run the risk if the internal thermostat fails it could cause a rise of your tank. I plug mine in and use the P4 to turn them on and off, and use the thermostat on the heater as another safety feature. I set them 1 degree higher then what I want my tank to be, and then let the P4 do the rest.
