Bro I can see why peter wanted to think through shit, mf spider told him he had spider genes and shit so it stand to reason he also inherited their lifespan which is a year or so and that Pete already seemed to be in his adult years aka not that much left in spider years which left Pete shocked and the spider told him "pete....everything dies" bro I would be broken

It's nice to read a genuinely wholesome and somewhat normal feeling comic for Peter. Not always some gritty, end of his ropes story. Those tend to make my eyes roll, they're a dime a dozen.

The spider gave Peter an existential crisis. Also. I demand a comic where Peter spends a day with Ghost Dog for fun. Marvel owns him at least that for all the bs they force him to go though. I love this spiderman. No saving the world. No dimensions traveling. No „oh god I gotta let my love die to save the world” No. Just friendly spiderman who, I dunno, calls criminals by their names and gives friendly scolding for catching them again? Something like „Jake! Wait. Didn’t we do this last month? Back on the streets already chap?” „Hey spidy! I know I know. I am terrible cleoptomaniac. Can’t help it. I live for the thrill.” „ you really should take your meds man. I am going to grab a hot dog? Do you want a hot dog? I will get you a hot dog. Wait for me okay?” „sure! I am not going anywhere.” „Dude. Wtf. He just arrested us.” „Hey! Language. It’s spiderman. Would you rather get arrested by the avengers? Or cops?” „point taken. Can I have a bite?” „No. Next time ask for your own hotdog.”

I like the art style of this comic, it’s soft and unique But Spider-man’s face at 5:33 💀 I laughed a little too hard and now that I’m looking at it for too long, I can’t tell if this is the stuff of nightmares or comedy gold The anatomy of the face just has me crying, but it’s so weird that it’s goofy

Absolutely love Bats the Ghost Dog. We genuinely need (A) a Bats the Ghost Dog comic and (B) a Spidey and Bats team-up. I, for one, would totally read that. Hell, I'd even buy it instead of just reading it online so as to make sure that it keeps getting printed/published. Also, Peter's face when Strange asks if he wants to talk to the spider is hilarious and sooo cute. Say what you want about the art style and maybe his face does look weird there but I just love how it conveys how excited Peter was to get to talk to a spider which, as I said, is so cute and funny because that's exactly how Spiderman would react. Lol, he's such a man-child.

If I was looking to talk to a famous avenger and another famous avenger showed up, I would just infer they know each other and can speak for each other. Spider-man saying "I'm Spider-man" seems like an adequate response to a stranger knocking at the door, ideally followed by closing said door in their face, but whatever.
