It really bothers me that you can’t travels back into the first region after starting Act II without fast travelling. I wonder why they closed off all of these forts/ castles it really breaks the immersion and freedom of exploration

You can't? Damn, I spent hours trying to figure out how to get back on the other side of Castle Shimura once I started Act III, because there's tons of side quests that I didn't complete. Please tell me you can go back there once you beat the story.

The Once And Future King you can go back to the 2nd area once you go through act III a little bit, but you have to fast travel to get to the 1st area even after finishing the story

I’m so glad you made a video about this. I just asked about this on Reddit yesterday. Hopefully SP will just release an update that opens the gates to all 3 castles so you can travel seamlessly between all sections of the island by foot or horse

They REALLY oughta make Kaneda castle, Lord Shimura's Camp and Shimureäa castle accessible in the postgame via a patch! These are some of rhe most unique and interesting locations in the game and it kinda sucks that we cant explore them at will. Also, Kaneda is the only way of seamlessly traveling back and forth between Toyotama and Izuhara. If you can, please help raising awareness by letting the devs lnow that this is something people want.

the fact that those locations are not accessible is just sucha bummer , cool game overall but some really bad desicions when it comes to the open world, the game also has almost nothing interesting going out in the open world, like 5 types of random events only that get repetitive as shit

Nice! gonna try this. I have become a cliff/waterfall diver/jumper with Jin in his swimming outfit. I tried all possible rivers to swim and jump all possible waterfalls. Some are so satisfying to jump. Highly recommend it :)

In castle Kaneda, you do not need explosive arrows for the gates, you generally can scale some of the walls.

Lord shimura camp cam be accessed without glitching, there is hill you can drop from main gate, turn left not far from watch tower

Idk if they updated the game and changed it now (as your comment is 3 months old) because I swear the back gate was open for me to simply squeeze through. I just went up to it and it was cracked open so I just had to press R2 to squeeze through it. Maybe it's because i revisited it right after I completed the mission that takes place there. Maybe it closes completely a little bit later into the game

If anyone is still having trouble with the glitches, just fast travel to Kubara Crossing and travel to Shimura's castle from the back. You will be shown a cutscene and then just climb the cliff.

you can enter castle kaneda from the north side (this is all relative to the map itself) you just jump over with your horse on the far left side this also works for lord shimuras camp it’s a little more complex because it’s using the horse spawn system when you call your horse and you do so on the top of a rock at the south east side of the camp no glitches with explosives no damage to the player

I got in by using my horse to jump from its back over all of the walls... BEFORE...I completed the main story. It was a ghost town. Hopefully the resources I took will have respawned by the time I advance naturally through the story to it. Honestly, I thought I could go there at ANY time like any other item on the map.

Or you use Savewizard for PS4 MAX and hack your save data with some Custom Quick Codes to have the “not broken” version of the Armor and you can use it :) and on top you can hack an “armor” where jin is completely naked (no, not the one where the description says that he drinks sake) and the description is saying that you should not see this armor now and that this must be a bug (same with not broken Armor ).

This game is awesome. Really loved it. Great graphic, fun gameplay and combat system, beautiful story. But there's a big problem to me, other than some minor shortcomings like no water splash effects, repetitive quests, no bow/quiver hide on some outfits etc.: once you platinum it, you can just uninstall it. No New Game Plus. No endgame content. The map is extremely empty and the only thing you can do is wandering the map looking for mongols, and sometimes you find yourself wandering for a long time before you find a patrol. I hope they will fix stuff and add some content as soon as possible.

I know how to get into locked areas. You start a new game. I did 97 % on my first playthrough, just before the lethal level was installed. Started a new playthrough but accidently saved over my old one. :(

Standard. The armour in the preorder is not that useful compared to the the ones you get in the game. Unless you want the theme and the soundtrack then sure go for the high one.

Def standard! The deluxe edition includes special armor, mask, sword as cosmetics and artwork + lengthy video of an interview between one of the developers and a japanese historian who's an expert of the era this game is based in. I think the deluxe is pretty worth it but there is no major advantage when it comes to gameplay

Uh.. cause it doesn't make sense for the story? Jin's clan was disbanded and he was labelled a traitor, he is now going to be hunted forever. Why would the gates to his Uncles Castle just be open for him?

You can replay with lethal mode with b&w mode with limited hud. It's pretty challenging. I also don't upgrade the auto parry for spears which makes it very challenging when facing groups

I ended up swimming. Yes. SWIMMING. It took forever, but it worked. I tried it twice.

@@dnotorious7582 lol still mongols to kill. 80 flags to find. As no trophy for that. I have 55 of 80 so far and 80% of trophies. Still can explore to find stuff you might have missed like records or artifacts.

I have extra skill point too. But I got special edition of the game which gives you an extra skill point at the start. When I finished jedi fallen order I had atleast 10 extra skill points I accumulated after levelling everything
