Niaje Abeli, your storytelling talent and ability to embellish a story is second to none! This video prompted me to read the entire story about this "ghost" plane. Surprisingly, the engineer who was accused of being responsible for leaving the switch on manual was acquitted by a court of appeal 7 years later! However years of dealing with legal battles took a toll on his family, his wife resorted to heavy drinking, the couple got divorced and Irwin (the engineer) got custody of their 2 kids. Donna (the wife) never lived to see Irwin's name cleared, she succumbed to an alcohol-related disease in 2012. In the end Boeing bore some of the blame due to an ineffective alert system. From 2011, older Boeing 737s were retrofitted with two additional cockpit warning lights to alert pilots to pressurisation problems.

That's such a sad story! :( In fact that part when you said when the 2 jets came up to check if there's still someone and found the flight attendant struggling to keep the plane moving until aka pass out, man, my heart just sank! I also went off kidogo. Seeing people about to die when you can't do anything about it is the most painful thing! But on the good side hehe, at least i've known something about aviation.
