Also it opened up a wormhole through which Daredevil was sent into the DC universe, regained his vision and became Batman. That same wormhole also sent Deadpool into the DC universe and turned him into the Green Lantern. The experience was so ghastly that he went insane and when he returned into the Marvel Universe, the insanity turned him into the zany Deadpool we now love.

There's a part missing from the review that was there before. When Cage is slamming the guy against the wall there's a bit where NC says "Uh Mr Cage. None of this is in the script. You're supposed to just ask where the kid is and leave. We don't know what you're doing here but for the love of god please don't hurt anybody."

the drinking from a jug thing actually made sense. If you remember in the first movie, Johnny's first transformation into the rider left him quite thirsty the next day (understandable, since the rider is basically a skeleton engulfed in hellfire). I think the jug scene is just a crossover with that.

I am honestly surprised they didn't realize that. I mean, even if that was meant to be the joke and it wasn't too obvious, or perhaps so obvious they actually didn't believe that could be the joke, I do still wonder why they didn't mention it at all. @@drakeware655 The only things about the design from Spirit of Vengeance that I liked was the improved CGI and the burnt looking jacket. Plus his skull looked less oversized. Everything else about his design seemed like a step down and I definitely missed the bike from the first film.

One thing you forgot to mention was how Blaze was persuaded into retrieving the kid by promising to lift the Rider curse, but he had a chance to get rid of the curse at the end of the first movie and declined because he wanted to be the Ghost Rider.

13:14 Ok, I was sure this part went on a bit longer and I found another upload of this ep, and sure enough the "Cage at his most Cage-y-ness" scene was mostly cut out, including a funny bit telling Cage that "none of this is in the script." It's so strange watching old Nostalgia Critic episodes and find bits and pieces have been taken out. I'm guessing it was something to do with youtube and why they had to re-upload these episodes in the first place..... but it still makes me sad ;_;

The Ghost Rider can take form during daylight, in the movie it was because he could actually control it, if you read the comics he can turn into the Rider whenever he wants

I hate the dumbing down of comic book villains . Mephistopheles not Satan or Lucifer . Mephistopheles was a powerful shapeshifter not a demon.

Uh, while I agree with you in principle, Mephistopheles is in fact a demon/possibly the devil. He's the one who makes the deal with Faust, which is where we get the phrase "a Faustian bargain". He was later stolen for use in the Marvel comics, but saying Mephistopheles isn't the devil is like saying Thor isn't the god of thunder.

I do have to say this. The first ghostrider was complete stupid fun. And an okay movie with some pretty badass scenes. But this movie was just terrible, completely cringy and unhinged in a bad way. I wonder if he'll be in avengers infinity war. I would actually like to see that tbh.

The reason Johnny's able to transform in daylight now is because the curse as been altered a bit, mostly by the boy. He can now transform anytime he sees so fit.

The part where ghost rider is in the hospital is because in rider form he's super durable but not invincible and injury shows up when he's not in rider form. The water thing was present in the first movie too when the caretaker would set up a few cups of water. They were MAJORLY inconsistent on a lot of things with the story in my view, but they at least got those things consistent small as they are
