Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in GHOST RIDER™ SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE. Still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter, Johnny is hiding out in a remote part of Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy from the devil. At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

Problem is look at Willy's wonderland, Cage is an amazing actor, but they always play him as a goofy character which he is not that good at.

The movie probably would have been made with or without him. If Cage hadn't played him, someone else would have. But I do think he did do really well with the role he was given. I don't think this movie would have been half as entertaining if it were anyone else playing Ghost Rider.

@@Naththananan Many people hate the movie. I liked the movies. When I was younger I thought the second one was done more badly than the first. I think the same after looking at the clips of both movies. I can’t remember a lot from both movies, but I think anybody should think that the scenes that Ghost Rider was in in the first movie are very enjoyable and badass.

indeed, its a more apropriate version aswell, instead of everything shiny and chrome and clean, the charred look of everything related to it makes more sense. the best aspect imo is actually the behavior, a lot more derranged and leaning towards the supernatural and irrational. gives of that uneasy feel

I think it would have actually been decent if it were rated R. Speaking of that, it was originally going to be really gory and R rated, but then Sony was like "Hell No!!" and forced the movie to be PG-13 because they just want to make money!

They didn't get anywhere near riders actual power, and besides the first movie was better and they put a whole lot more effort into it, but if they put his full power into a movie there would be no movie cuz he would have defeated the big bad in the first few minutes, he is quite possibly the most overpowered character in the marvel universe, and he never loses. Not like every other hero who has a loss and then comes back and wins, and in this scene if it were rider at full power blackout would never have stood a chance, it wouldn't have been a fight

Then he was returned to his true purpose of delivering justice hence the blue flame. Interesting thing about Johnny's/Cage's take on the Ghost Rider, he was always delivering justice. That's why the devil said "Worst **** deal I ever made". He may have created Johnny's persona but he could never control him.

I prefer the bike's design from the 1st movie, but the Ghostrider's black skull in this movie is also pretty metal. I also prefer the way they shot this movie the way they did, seems like a very comicbook style, as though you can take a frame out from anyway in the movie and it'll always look like it came from a panel of the comic

In First Ghost Rider Movie, his roar sounds less demonic. Of course its because Ghost Rider's Voice is Low pitched, so he can roar like hulk, in the Avengers Movie. In Second Ghost Rider Movie, His roar sounds very demonic now, well little high pitched roar, But What I llke very much is his snarling and growling, I like it.

I used to watch this when I was a kid. Although, I forgot about this long while ago, this movie is still one of my favourites. Ghost Rider is pretty sick and quite underrated. The fact that Nicholas Cage aced the role made it quite impressive.

My theory on why ghost rider looked and acted different is because Johnny kept him in a cage down deep for so long. Like keeping a wild animal in a cage it gets hostile,agitated, and volatile. That's why he looked more ragged and unhinged.

I thought this scene was hardcore especially when the boy gave johnny back his powers after taking down black out sickest fight scene ever!! Even when he used his powers to transform the truck into a fire truck of his own was way incredible too.

I love how they use the fact that any sin even a little lie can make you the Ghost Riders victim. He was about to die but Roarke had to say that one lie. "I was never afraid of you!" That lie is what made the Rider able to burn his soul and kill him.

I honestly love this ghost rider mainly bc of his overall look. Black bones bc of the fire. Melted and bubbling clothes like molten tar. Everything he touches turns charcoal black bc of the hell fire. And his insanity. The thing to remember is that the spirit inside of johnny was driven completely insane. And his behavior is the result of that deranged spirit up until the extraction where he acts normal.

They were stated to only temporarily stop him, and that only being killed by his creator would work. Meaning God capital G.
