Is this a new vacuum from oreck? I thought after David passed, his son changed the name to “David”. I thought Oreck was a brand that was re-named.

My local Oreck dealer mentioned that Oreck is introducing an upright vacuum with attachments as well as a new version of the Oreck Pod Vacuum. Hope it's true.

I replaced the felt ring on the intake but now the main vacuum head doesn't drop and move freely like it should. What did i do wrong?

The Oreck doesn't appear to have a sealed HEPA filtration system or even a HEPA filter. Wouldn't the lack of those diminish air quality and cause dust to be spewed out of the exhaust?
