I stop in Ramonas late nite to grab a drink and kick it with the bartenders. You see all kind of fuckery down that way at nite. A hood is a hood. South East to RD. And watch them chicas selling the nappy dugout on the low. They will set you up for a bump. Ya feel me..

We're not desperate for people but we are aware that if these same Dominicans were in the USA pre-Civil rights Era, they would be treated like black Americans because they look like black Americans. I'm from NYC and if you go to Washington Heights in Manhattan where a lot of Dominicans live, they look just like black people.

I think they felt offended when you asked them if they perceived the area as being dangerous. I have found that when people live in certain areas for so long everything becomes normalized for them especially if they were born in the particular area.

Ive been to colombia as well and since you are making a comparison i can tell u this....in DR the girls that you find in sosua come from another city just to hang out there since no one really know them so the same way you are in a personal getaway the same is for them. In colombia medellin they are locals which they know everyone and it can get tricky trust wise. In DR the girls are more welcoming not only for the money. However, be careful leaving anything unattended in any country.
