If he can still hit the ball 120mph (harder than anyone else), then he hasn't lost bat speed. Why is he such a worse hitter now than 5-10 years ago with the Marlins?

Because he’s getting older, and his body is declining more. Athletes are at their best when they’re at their prime. Stanton’s prime was like 5-10 years ago. He can still hit the ball hard, sure. But he doesn’t make as much contact.
