If you struggle, please consider talking to a therapist. There is no shame in that. Don't wait until it gets worse. Try to find the right therapist for you. Choose someone that you feel you'd get along with and connect with. But always remember that therapy takes time. Your therapist can't fix all your problems from the first moment. He or she will be there for you, to help you, to give you ideas, and to keep you on track on your journey. There will be moments when you will feel that maybe therapy is not for you, and you can't find a meaning to all of this. This is because you want all your problems to disappear right away. But that's not how this works. You need to give yourself time. It may be 1-2 months or maybe more. But it's a journey worth taking.

Forget about all this motivational coaches and other nonsense Coggins is the real deal. Marines and Army always have a beef about who's more bad-ass. And this army guy will translate what David is really saying. Your insecurities feel safe, are comfortable. Push your boundaries to get rid of those. You have to go to that place where you control your thoughts and feelings. Take a long hard look at yourself and change whats wrong with you. Most can't be that honest. So you hide behind your insecurities

The book "The Fifth Agreement" deals with how to figure out your brain and HOW to change it. REALLY WORKS, because it changes ones perspective and allows one to see how to release the old habits. David Goggins has been able to get to the source of his mind by practice. Very cool...

I felt like something was missing since i was a little kid. A big part of my life i was deppressed and anxious. I was trying to fill a void and find happiness by excercise, diet, alcohol, weed, sex, work, everything. Later i realized all those sources of temporary fulfillment were just substitutes for God.
